Been some time but here's an update in the current state of Hybrid Assault. Though i sold one of the branches I still own the main pack and should I choose to reopen it I will fill holes in advance however now being away at school my time is somewhat limited so I'll see how this semester gets along and consider reopening. I'll likely also open under a different name with the same mods, connecting to the same server in order to get an influx of fresh players.I'd rather not have the server end up being destroyed after being built as it was last time so I'll work myself along side some computer engineers I've met to secure our system. In casual conversation we were discussing how people break through firewalls over dinner and I may have stumbled across how it was being broken. For any reading, thanks for keeping up with Hybrid

I've been of of technic for some time and though one of the sub branches of Hybrid Assault, "Hybrid Assault Tactical Warfare" was sold off I still maintain ownership of the main modpack. If you're still interested I'm willing to discuss prices. Currently the pack lies idle and hidden waiting to be reopened should I find the time or should someone want to purchase it.

The reason it was shut down is because they were using lots of mods and flans mod content packs without permission.

false, all flans mod content packs were either public or permission was given. Though there was dispute about our use of flans mod plus we were within our legal bounds. Since flans mod plus is a fork of an open source mod it too is technically open source and despite what the creators of it choose to believe the law is the law and open source is open source.

It would be realy nice to see security craft or tinkercraft in this game. It would make the experience even better than it already is

yo car, I drink Clorox is hacking the server again... he nuked spawn, banned a ton of people, and started ddos-ing people while stealing IPs. just so you know. I think he also banned tenza.

I can stand behind this, He banned 3 of your mods and our friend in our Faction while killing everyone in the server, then he proceeded to do worse.

CarFreak10598 is very well equiped on what is to fix on his server, He is bright when it comes to creating and making his servers though he needs his community to form around him and work with him constructivly other than "Why is there lag?" or "WTF is happening?". I will straight out and say yes i am one of those people too that say those things cause i too used to be an old server maker and owner and i from past experience that one of his beloved plugins ClearLag the entity remover helps with entity lag but creates latency lag as a trade off, now if you live in the US this is not an issue but our german and russian friends that i see play with us have a much different story to tell. Instead of yelling at Carfreak for his "poor" server making skills and actually help a learning and growing developer build the server correctly by surveying the Bukkit forums for performance enhancing but no lag inducing plugins as suggestions not commands. As a final note, i'm going to put out my suggestion for CarFreak10598 about a plugin that I stand behind very well and enjoy the work the developers have done to it, CreaperHeal, It is a plugin that can help prevent Griefing from unwanted mobs and players within all or specific designated zones by when an explosion or "Grief" occurs the server will automatically rebuild what has been modified to its original state and tells the ones who have neccessary permissions to view who modified it so he/she can make correct decisions of Justice.

Well, I lost my stuff due to Server lag (bold "Server") And the Owner says it was my fault trust me I love this ModPack but I don't get how the Server lag issues were my fault :P
