Install Hightech Minecraft

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Hightech Minecraft) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Hightech Minecraft from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

This is a modern take on Minecraft. It is based on the Modern civilization back by HeadClone which has since been removed. This Modpack is my first Public Modpack. I have numerous private ones. This Modpack uses the Solder intergration so makes updating much quicker after the intial download.

Hightech Minecraft has a strong foundation in Technology and Warfare. There are a number of mods in here such as ICBM, ComputerCraft, Flan's Mod, etc. This pack used Mekanism and the Universal Electricty API and Core to make easy conversions of energy whether using Buildcraft or Thermal Expansion or both.

This pack is multi-player freindly and you can start a server up using it if you so choose. Spahx DB has a variety of textures for the mods in this pack as well.
