Changelogs

Version 2.0

Seeing as there aren't any major changes I want to make at the moment, the time has arrived for 2.0! The only change being made however is that I'm including every other version of EF, 1.0 and all in the files! This does make the download a bit more hefty, but it's worth it.

Version 1.9

Posted

- New mod added: Waystones! I've found through my personal playthroughs that finding certain biomes that should be more common like swamps and deserts can prove to be difficult. To circumvent this, I'm adding a fast travel mod that will allow you to go wherever one wants with relative ease!
- The boss list was updated.

Version 1.8

I recently finished another playthrough of this modpack and I'm happy to report that the game is mostly in the state I want it to be in! Not much is left to work on, so this version has a short changelog.
- The cooldown of Pestilence has been buffed from 25 to 15 seconds. This aims to make it more usable and to compensate for the "return to dust" mechanic.
- The boss list was updated.

Version 1.7

- The root of the Metallurgy glitch has been found! Sword effects cannot be applied to every mob equally, like the Swordfish, Naga from Twilight Forest, etc. Therefore, most sword effects from this mod have been disabled. The ones left are the ones that had no options in the config.
- Inspired by the Pharaohs from the Atum mod, minions in Fish's Undead Rising will not die when their summoner is killed.
- The cooldown of the Pestilence summon staff has been buffed from 60 seconds to 25. This is to make it more usable.
- Sea serpents from Abyssal Depths had their max spawn changed from 100 to 0. They were already disabled. This is to rub salt in their wounds.

* The last change was moved from 1.6 to 1.7 as I forgot to make the change in 1.6! Whoops!

Version 1.6

- Castle Dungeon's 2.2 update was added. The config was adjusted to make castles more common, not spawn underground, and make them spawn on less steep land. There are other changes as well.
- New mod added: Shipwrecks! This is to add incentive to go to the ocean aside from sirens, serpents, and Battletowers. Maaaaybe the Abyssal Depths stuff as well if you care.

Version 1.5

With this small update coming out, it actually rounds out most of what I wanted to do with the modpack. This update is to address some changes I recently made to the two bosses in Fish's Undead Rising.
- Forsaken damage buffed from 4 to 10.
- Lil' Sludge's damage buffed from 3 to 5.

Version 1.4

- Spawn rate of Forsaken has been changed from 10 to 20. This is to make farming for the Skeleton King easier as Forsaken basically didn't spawn beforehand. Their max health was buffed from 30 to 50.
- I've found that coyote spawn rates made almost every other Desert mob not spawn, so they had to be adjusted. Their spawn weight has been changed from 5 to 2. Their max spawn group has been changed from 6 to 3.
- All Better Animals Plus mobs have been changed so they despawn when no one is around, except the Hirschgeist. The Hirschgeist's natural spawning has been disabled, meaning you have to summon it in manually using the Hand Of Fate. If it were allowed to spawn naturally, the spawn weight was changed from 2 to 1.
- Skeleton King's damage has been buffed from 20 to 40.
- Sludge Lord's max HP buffed from 70 to 250. Sludge Lord's spawn rate raised from 15 to 20. Sludge Lord's max summons buffed from 8 to 10. Sludge Lord's summon number per cast buffed from 3 to 5. Sludge Lord's attack strength buffed from 5 to 20. Sludge Lord's summoning cooldown was buffed from 17 to 10 seconds. These changes were made to make this mob a mini boss.
- Ithaqua spawn rate raised from 15 to 20.
- Added a boss list for anyone interested.
- Sea Serpent's base health buffed from 20 to 50.
- Dragonsteel Chestplate armor value buffed from 12 to 16. This also adjusts the rest of the armor and makes it more powerful as the definitive endgame armor.
- Dragon flute distance changed from 5 to 10 chunks. Tamed dragons really like to wander.
- Cyclops bite attack damage changed from 40 to 100. This attack is REALLY easy to avoid getting hit by, but the output of it is more severe now.
- New mod added: Sleeping Overhaul! This was added to allow players to sleep through the day to make farming for mobs and other nightly activities easier.

Version 1.3

Posted

A very small update! It's mainly to address something I found while looking around in the config.
- None of the SimpleOres blocks can be used as a beacon base now.
- Added some new folders: "Images Used For Technic", "Enchantments And Credits".

Version 1.2

Posted

- HP and damage of almost all the Aurorian bosses have been tweaked. The damage of the Spider Mother and Moon Queen have been adjusted as so:

Spider Mother - DMG and HP Multiplier: 6.0 to 5.5
Moon Queen - DMG and HP Multiplier: 8.0 to 6.0
- Spawning density of mobs in all dungeons have been adjusted.
Runestone Dungeon - 3 to 2.
Darkstone Dungeon - 4 to 3.
Moon Temple - 2 to 4.
- Runestone Dungeon floors have been adjusted from 5 floors to 3.
- A changelogs folder was added to chronicle each release. 1.0's is more of a...gag than anything?
- The Lightning enchantment (The one that deals extra damage depending on the amount of armor an enemy wears) has had its multiplier buffed from 0.2 to 0.5. It was alright before, but this gives it more noticeable firepower.
- FutureMC's 0.2.11 update was added.
- The Aurorian's May 2021 update was added.
- All the Creative items in FutureMC have been re-enabled.
- With the Aurorian's new Nightmare Mode, the multiplier for the damage of the normal mobs was changed from 1.0 to 5.0 to match the first boss.
- Fish's Undead Rising 1.3.3 update was added.
- Parasites from Fish's Undead Rising now attack all living mobs.
- Parasites spawning from sand in the desert has been disabled. I, uh...didn't know that was a thing.
- Skeleton King HP buffed from 360 HP to 500.
- Skeleton King attack strength buffed from 16 to 20.
- SoundFilters 0.12.1 update was added.

Version 1.1

Posted

- Silver furnace slightly nerfed in regards to speed.
- Iron furnace slightly buffed in regards to speed.
- Obsidian furnace buffed in consumption rate, nerfed in regards to speed.
- Netherrack furnace buffed in regards to speed. This aligns with the fact that netherrack is later in MC's progession,
and that it also makes sense a hell furnace should be better than obsidian. Consumption rate was changed, though it doesn't matter as the
furnace runs on an infinite fuel source.
- Sea serpent's damage nerfed from 6.0 attack strength to 3.5. Before, they could one tap you at any point in progression and given the
rewards for killing them aren't as good as killing a dragon, this didn't make sense.
- Uncrafting Table's minimum level requirement changed from 20 to 15. Maximum changed from 25 to 20. Even though a fair portion of EF's gameplay can be centered around building an early EXP farm given how many spawners there are, 20 minimum is fairly high and makes this mechanic less accessible. This aims to make it a bit more fair in the grand scheme.
- Better Nether's Netherrack Furnace was disabled as More Furnaces already adds one.
