Install Core Zero

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Core Zero) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Core Zero from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Apparently fewizz just updated his NotEnoughIDs, so it will work with more of the FastCraft Builds. It still won't work with the build Core Zero comes with, but it should theoretically work with the newer ones on Player's forum page.

you know, i'm reverting the modpack back to the old version because i loved it then, i liked amaxters work, but now i cant even play the new world i made and amaxter hasnt been bothered to fix it himself. also only ONE person said their OLD world didnt work properly not anyone else, so amaxter has to learn to read not anyone else

EVERYONE else said NEW worlds werent working and thats what annoys me that he couldnt even take the time to actually read everyones comment

If you remove FastCraft, your new world will be just fine. If you really need to play with FastCraft, get the 1.2.2test13 beta that the NotEnoughIDs mod was tested with. People have had great successes with doing either of these things. Here is the link to the download if you must. Can someone halp meeeee? Everytime i try to load a world it lags the shit out of it and it starts loading random chunks, and that happened to every single world I created. Plz help me OH LORD CORE ZERO

remove fastcraft from the mods list it should work fine.

If you want to still use FastCraft, it's a conflict with the NotEnoughIDs mod. It is still a very early progress mod, and hasn't been made fully compatible with everything yet. The only version of FastCraft that works with the mod is the 1.2.2test13 version, which is what the mod was tested with. As player removed that download from his section, fewizz uploaded it himself. Aye, just wanna say thanks for spending your time to create entertainment for us, EnderMedia/Amaxter(and whoever else is involved). I know this pack has had some ups and downs, but it's still a great modpack. I hope you continue to develop this pack since it has so many good mods in it and is one of the few large modpacks that don't crash upon launch that I know of. The server may not have worked out, but I think a new one with better host and some restrictions so players won't cause havoc on the server and crash it constantly would be amazing. Then again, I don't really know too much about server hosting so I might be wrong. Have a nice day and keep up the good work. :D Thank you :)

I misspoke earlier, NotEnoughIDs is tested using FastCraft 1.2.2 test13, which is why I was having problems (I was using 14). According to fewizz's minecraftforum page, Test 13 is the only version of FastCraft that works. I personally don't play with FastCraft, but for those who want to use it, the link to the Test 13 build of the mod is on the forum page (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/2467198-notenoughids-maximum-id-range-exceeded-no-more) on the 5th page For those complaining that old worlds don't work, NotEnoughIDs changes the way and numbers that IDs are registered to, and therefore any items or blocks will be broken or misrepresented in old worlds.

i have to agree with Amaxter i tested it my self worked may u guys at core zero could send out a patch like 1.2.3a to fix that because less pc savy people wont know file paths for it

Hey Amaxter, Core Zero, et al. NotEnoughIDs is tested using Fastcraft v1.2.2 which is why people's chunks are disappearing. I have a personal pack that I play on (335 mods) and was having similar issues to everyone here. That version of Fastcraft isn't great though, so you may need to delete it all together. I deleted it, and no problems in chink loading have occurred since. Just what I've found testing on my own.

people are complaining because they started a new world and the chunks aren't loading correctly even when they made a NEW SAVE it doesnt load correctly

started new save after update, saved and quit to update chisle (modpack version still crashing) reload and chunks not loading, moved to new spot. try again, reload and still not loading chunks anywhere in sight.

The changelog says that old worlds won't work. I suggest you read it for next time.

I ment to say new world when i say save. I restart world with every patch becouse of compatability issues. I just thought that everyone else did as well. If you want to keep playing old worlds, don't patch. Runing reinstall of modpack to see if error happens again with fresh install and new world.

Same as before, Blue sky world with mobs falling and than poping back up, most blocks that are loading are invisible.

So I downloaded the update and when i booted up my world the entire world was just black. No world loaded in can anyone help.

This modpack is expiremental, as the changelog says "OLD WORLDS WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS UPDATE"

I hate to break it to you, but the server is in need of alot of help. it keeps crashing when you go the end or nether of all places.

Latest Update

Everyone complaining about old worlds not working, it's not Core Zero's fault, it said so in the changelog. That should teach you all to read :) (this is an experimental modpack, this should be expected)
