Dude, I can't find a jungle Biome anywhere, I tried multiple worlds and went 1000's of blocks I can't find it

That really stinks :( An issue of this nature would be handled directly by the Minecraft world gen. However, I have actually spawned in a jungle multiple times with this pack, and am currently living right next to one. So I can verify that there are no biomes being prevented from generating in this pack. It's just bad luck I guess. Really hope one turns up soon, best of wishes :)

Hello everyone, first off as always, thanks for the awesome support and patience! I couldn't ask for more. But sadly, I must. As many of you know, I am in the process of moving and that includes a lot of tasks and packing etc. Furthermore, closing is only two weeks away and I'm moving 800 miles. All of this to say, I have a lot to do and so I unfortunately must hang up the towel TEMPORARILY. Only for a couple weeks. I love Minecraft, Modding, and presenting things that people will have fun with, therefore I will most likely always be doing this, so please don't think I'm quitting. I will continue work on the mod packs that are yet to be released, but I will not be releasing them or any updates for a few weeks, until I have a network internet connection again. I wanted to release them before I had to take a break, but there's too much to do here with the moving situation. That and I wouldn't be able to offer support either for a few weeks if I did release now. But, I will be back. And when I am back I will be releasing modpacks and ever important updates. I may be able to slip in one more update, but idk yet, so don't hold me to that. I'll be back in a few weeks, if you need help or have suggestions, you can leave them here, but I probably won't see them for a few weeks. Or you can hit me up on Twitter: @Gryph0nnn At any rate, thanks for the support and understanding, and I will be back in a few weeks. Until then, happy crafting!

Finally, all work is done with the house, it is sold, and I am moving to WiFi- er... North Carolina... Is what I meant... Anyways, more details; Sorry I have been gone for so long. Again. Don't worry, I'm sick of the pattern too, I'll be around more often, I promise ;) In a months time, I will be re-established and ready to start updating frequently. Lot's of improvements coming up but that's a topic for another time, right now I have a question that I will start a series of new posts about both here and on mod update tabs here on the site. Thanks much! I look forward to your feedback :)

Hello, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am able to recreate the bug, and thus will start on a fix promptly. Thanks again :)
Gryph0nnn Gryph0nnn · Creator ·
Crash is due to 'Ticking Memory Connection' error from AoA Utility update 12. Just updated to Utility Update 13, and the crash is gone when I attack without a weapon. Thanks again for notifying me of this, the update is uploading now, and should be ready soon. Happy crafting! :)

That's right, I'm back, alive and well. Sorry for my prolonged absence (especially those who asked for help, I am so, so sorry for not responding quickly :( ) As some of you already knew, I am moving soon, so I was busy with work, back to back showings and completion of renovations around the house. My hands are still full, especially trying to get a car back up and running before I leave, and the time pressure is on now as the house just sold! Woot! But I have a little more time now to come back here with you amazing people! Thanks for sticking with me after a month disappearance, I couldn't ask for more loyal supporters, you guys are awesome! So what does this mean for you guys? Well, it means I can finally get WiFi and a stable, fast internet connection! I know, I'm not making sense, maybe, but my point is you get: faster support, faster fixes, faster and more frequent updates, more modpacks (coming soon!), and the possibility of servers for some if not all modpacks! Also, if I can figure it out, Solder compatibility, which will drastically reduce update times in your launcher! Can I get a booyah!? *crickets*... Aaaanyways, again, I'd like to thank you all again, and I'm happy to be back! Happy Crafting! :)

Hey I really like this mod pack but the gamerule keepInventory is not working. :( Does anyone know why? And how to fix?

Sorry for the late reply, Idk why it's not working, but thanks for bringing this to my attention, and I will look into it and see if I can fix it.

So I tried the mod route to no avail. Which lead me to wonder if the command had been deprecated or not. It hasn't been, but it has changed function. "/gamerule keepInventory true" now only keeps random high tier loot on death. Which is odd to me, because in my other modpack Aether II: Genesis of the Void, that command keeps all loot. But whatever the case, I have found a solution. There is a new command that keeps it all in your inventory, every last morsel. "/gamerule keepAllInventory true" will keep everything in your inventory if you die. Im sure you probably already know this, but it must be entered upon loading of the world every time you load. It is also case sensitive. Alternatively, again Im sure you know this, you can type "/gamerule" and then press "Tab" and it will display a list of commands in the text box, you can then either copy what it says, or you can keep pressing Tab until the right command displays in the chat line. You will have to type true after the command is in place, or just press Tab one or two more times. Hope this helps, Happy Crafting! :)

***VOTING CLOSED*** Thanks for the votes guys, and I know I said I was going to leave the voting window open for a few days. Sorry I cut it off short. Upon more thought (and a vote) I've decided to drop Aether II. Here's why: I love Aether II. Me and a lot of other people. It is by far one of the greatest world adding mods out there and is a blast to play on it's own, even without other mods. Having said that, I am dropping it for this reason: there are plenty of amazing mod packs with Aether II in it (including my own and a few by Amaxter). Therefore I know that anyone who enjoys Aether II can find it easily and, best part of all, with no ctd issues. This pack is very large as far as new content, mobs, armor, etc. and is already hard to keep updating without conflicts, even without Aether II included and taking into consideration very limited internet with weak, unreliable signal. Aether II is very large as well and serves as a challenge to include it with other large mods and is largely incompatible with many other mods, especially large mods such as Advent of Ascension (The devs even state this effect at 'aetherii.com/faq' under "Can I use the Aether II in my mod pack?"). All this to say that it makes most sense to drop Aether II from this pack and keep Orespawn as it adds a lot of personality to this pack and plays much nicer with the already included mods. Of course, if it were up to me, I'd keep them both but until I learn to rebuild forge from the ground up and change the way mos are uniquely (per world) assigned ID's, I can't help the conflict. I apologize for any world(s) and/or progress lost by this drastic change in the pack. Thanks for the understanding and for sticking with me thru this process. It's heartbreaking, I know, especially for whatever will be lost, and trust me, I feel your pain... I had a huge moa farm with a massive Aether themed castle in the Aether :( But I promise the pack will continue to update and add more content and as always I will be taking requests. Again Thanks for sticking with me and for the understanding of this situation. Happy crafting! :)

***VOTE*** So as you may have seen in the updates section, Orespawn and Aether II are incompatible with eachother as they create invalid mob ID's upon world creation. The mod works perfectly, until you go to the Aether. Then, without fail, the pack crashes. As this is my modpack, I would like to drop Orespawn and keep moving forward (At least until a working fix is discovered or an update makes the two packs compatible). However, as popular as Aether II is, there is a large number of Aether modpacks available (including my own) and therefore, it almost makes more sense to get rid of that one. So I am at a loss, and I would rather ask you guys which of the two mods you would like to see kept in the pack. You can vote either under the update notification or as a reply to this post. Voting will only be open for a few days at most or until there's enough of a trend for me to make an earlier decision. Thanks for the feedback in advanced! :) p.s. The pack still works so long as you stay clear of the Aether. So happy crafting! :)

So upon trying many things, I cannot seem to get the pack URL updated. The site gives me the "application error" screen every time I try. Oddly enough, however, the launcher is now trying to download from the what would be correct URL if I didn't have to re-upload the pack after the config folder overhaul (which did help slightly btw). Unfortunately there's nothing more I can do until Technic support gets back to me on why the site crashes when trying to update the link... I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience :( I really hate it when things like this go wrong mainly because I can't do anything about it without more information I don't currently possess. But the help topic has been made and is awaiting help, I will get this pack up and running again. Thank you so much for the patience and understanding :) I will keep you all updated as the situation unfolds.

Okay guys, this is really being a pain. The pack is down for the moment but I am working on a fix. For those who are interested, the problem is that TechnicPack.net says the dl link is invalid even though it is the correct link with the appropriate "?dl=1" modifier. I have some others online that have had this issue and it seems to have something to do with config files being included. So I am reducing the amount of config files to only one file. AoA's config is necessary to resolve some id conflicts and thus is the only file included in the config folder now. If this works, I'll have to leave it this way which means some UI elements may overlap again. Not sure yet, but if they do, all I did to resolve that issue is change the minimap location to the bottom right and made it smaller, both of which are options in the in-game map options menu. Also, there may be some key binding redundancies, which are resolvable in the in-game options menu. Look for the red colored letters and re-assign as you see fit. I know that's basic info but I never know when a newcomer might be reading this :) At any rate I will continue to tussle with this until it's working. Thank so much for the abundance of patience and for supporting this pack so much! Hopefully I can say "Happy crafting" very soon.

Also, in the new update it says: " Error downloading a file for the following pack: Dimension Craft: Domination Failed to download: https://copy.com/qdfaofR4HKXZJV9G?download=1 Please consult the modpack author. " And now I am consulting you telling you exactly what is happening! xD I don't know if it's just a minor error or? But I'd just like to let you know dat. :3

Ugh it's this website reverting the modpack dl link to an older link. I've had this issue a few times before. I'll keep changing the link back to the right one and hopefully it will stop reverting to the old link. So frustrating. Sorry for the inconvenience, it should be working again. Thanks for letting me know :)

Happy to help! Unfortunately, now I am struggling with an issue where launching the pack just launches Vanilla Minecraft for some bizarre reason. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the pack, without luck, and verified I was running the latest Java, and even double-checked that the .jars were in the pack's mods folder, which they were. I'm stumped!
CuddlyZombie CuddlyZombie ·
I was able to find a fix! I extracted modpack.jar from the zip in the modpack's cache folder, and copied it to the modpack's bin folder, and now forge loads correctly and the mods are added in.

I almost gave myself an aneurysm trying to figure this one out Lol, I'm so frustrated right now. Oh well, thanks a bunch for saving me any future headaches. You're the best! :)
