Welcome! BiblioCraft, a useful and aesthetically pleasing Minecraft modification began at the beginning of 2013 as a response to an accumulation of many different types of books on a heavily modded server. Between the addition of enchanted books and written books in vanilla and the many mods such as Mystcraft, Thaumcraft, MineChem, ComputerCraft, Redpower and so on that add many useful types of books and plans and so forth, I started to really want a better way to store books.So I began work on BiblioCraft. Biblio comes from the Greek word meaning “book”. The bookcase is meant to be visually pleasing as well and display added books on the shelf so one can look at the bookcase and see right away how many books are there. After that I decided, why stop there?, I realized there are many other types of items that would fare well with unique, dedicated storage blocks.
This mod adds small, block-like creatures into your world that spawn in most grassy areas. They can then be tamed using flowers and are able to perform different tasks for you in the world, as well as gain experience and level up. Extending Minecraft with pipes, auto-crafting, quarries, engines and much more!
Chameleon is a shared code library for Minecraft 1.8 and later. Although it does not currently provide rendering hooks to restore the 1.7 render pipeline, it does provide a more comprehensive RenderBlocks replacement that is also suited for TESR rendering.
As you all should know, the minecraft world is seperated into chunks. 16x16 areas that are loaded depending on how close a player is to them. If you have machines or plants or anything that does something in a chunk that is not loaded because there are no players nearby nothing will happen.
This mod adds a block called a chunkloader, when placed it will keep chunks around it loaded even if no players are nearby or even online. So now your plants can grow and your automatic quarries can run, even when you're not around.

Compact Solar Arrays for Minecraft and IndustrialCraft 2
This small mod/library has some tools that can help to make mods binary compatible between 1.10 and 1.11. If you make sure you use the api in this mod correctly it is possible to make a mod jar that runs on both versions.
A few things that you should do in addition to what this library does:
Make all resource names (lang files, model names, json files, texture files, ...) lower case in your 1.10.2 version. Add a FMLMissingMapping event handler to take care old worlds load
Mod id should be lowercase too

Deep Resonance is a power generation mod for Minecraft meant for both early game power as well as high end and more complicated end game power. This release adds oregen (the resonating ore as well as crystals) so that people can put it in their worlds already. It also has a (default disabled) retrogen option for existing worlds. In the current state of the mod you can produce crystals that give 20000 RF/tick for a total of 1 billion RF. But note that getting to that stage is not going to be easy!
This contains shared code for Forge mods and is used by Elec332 and others. A Rendering Library and commonly used code can be found here.
EnderStorage is a mod that offers a means to store your items in The END, causing them to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All EnderStorage makes use of the magic of colors to link storage with its little piece of The END. Any EnderStorage with the same color code share inventory (even across dimensions). Currently there are two types of storage, EnderChest and EnderPouch.
EnderChests are a stationary type of EnderStorage. You can use dye on the wool pads on top of the chest to alter its color code. As an alternative, you can craft an EnderChest with three dyes to change the color code as well. EnderChests work as any other chest for the purposes of blocks that manipulate chests contents. This makes EnderChests an ideal way to transport items over vast distances in an instant.

A while ago I started tinkering with Minecraft modding as a way to better learn java. I had no serious intentions of ever making a proper mod so I basically threw in every silly and stupid idea that came to me. A simple Minecraft mod that speeds up leaf decay after you cut down the wood in a tree. By default it will only take about five seconds before all leaves are gone.

Morpheus is a server-only mod that adds sleep voting to a forge based server. When a player sleeps, all other players in the same dimension are notified so it is easier to coordinate. Also, you can configure a ratio of players that are required to make it morning (default 50%) messages can be customised in the config and alerts can be turned off if needed.
Mouse Tweaks replaces the standard RMB dragging mechanic, adds two new LMB dragging mechanics and an ability to quickly move items with the scroll wheel. Everything can be enabled and disabled in the configuration file or in Forge's mod options menu.
Natura is a mod that aims to spice up the world with interesting worldgen. With a few small additions, hunger no longer has to be about hunting animals early game. The mod is mostly intuitive; everything should be sensible or explained in-game.

Library for OMT and its companion mods. Provides the basic functionality like change owner command and the support for offline mode and RF/EU conversion. This mod adds computers that can be programmed in Lua 5.2 and 5.3. Computers persist across saves (i.e. execution resumes where the computer was saved when it is loaded again), they are highly modular (there are graphics cards, network cards, redstone cards, ...). If a compatible power generating mod is present, by default they will need power to run - however, like pretty much everything else about the mod, this can be changed in the config.

Must-have for modpacks that rely on combat mechanics.
The Lost Cities is a mod that allows the player to play in an old abandoned city instead of the normal overworld. When you create your world you can select 'Lost Cities' as your worldtype. You spawn in an old and partially destroyed city that takes over the entire overworld. There are highways, bridges, tunnels, a subway system, tons of dungeons with spawners and loot and so on. There are also various configuration presets (called profiles) to alter how the world is generated.
This mod is very configurable and in future versions it will be even more so. You will be able to add custom buildings and use modded building blocks.
This mod can be used server-side only (so vanilla clients can connect). To use it server side you have to use 'lostcities' as the worldtype.
Note that there is also a dimension (default ID 111) that you can travel too. This dimension can be disabled (useful if you want this for vanilla clients). But using this dimension you can keep the overworld normal and have The Lost Cities in a dimension. To go there (and back) the current way is to place a bed on top of two diamond blocks and surround it with 6 skulls. Then try to sleep in it.
If Biomes O Plenty is present there is also a Lost Cities (BoP) variant (or 'lostcities_bop' for servers) which will use Biomes O Plenty biomes.
To use a specific 'profile' (configuration profile) on a server you have to add this to your server-properties file:
generator-options={"profile":"nodamage"}

Expanding Minecraft Thermally! This mod is required for Thermal Expansion and gives modpack makers a way to add resources to their worlds without needing to install all of the tech and other goodies that come with TE.
Tinkers' Construct is a mod about putting tools together in a wide variety of ways, then modifying them until they turn into something else. The tools never disappear and can be named and changed to your heart's desire. Once you make them, they're yours forever. Any world generation included in the mod is more efficient, but not required to progress.
Translocators is a mod that allows you to transfer items and liquids between nearby inventories with a heavily configureable amount of control in a way that feels natural to Minecraft. It was developed in 36 hours during the ModJam modding contest and managed to take first prize.
Waila is an extension for NEI. It will show in the tooltip what mod an item is from. Since the tooltip contains the mod name, you can also easly parse items per mods.
But that's not all ! Leveraging an extended NEI HUD, it is also capable of showing the name of blocks and mods ingame, right on top of your screen.
And if this is not enough, it comes with a few integrated modules to show internal information of some specific blocks. For now, BC tanks have been implemented (shows the content, capacity and amount of fluid) and IC2 machines (shows the In/out voltage).

What Are We Looking At (WAWLA) is a Minecraft mod which helps provide in game documentation for vanilla and modded content.
XNet is a mod which adds a single type of cable: a networking cable. Using networking cables you can instantly transport items, fluids, energy, and information. The main focus of this mod is efficiency and flexibility. Efficiency in that it is possible to make huge cable networks (tested with two chests seperated by a cable of 12000 blocks long) with no lag. The cables themselves are not even tile entities. Flexibility in that the controller allows for really flexible configuration for distributing information.
ZeroCore is a mod intended for other mod authors
It contains code to handle the basic mechanics of the game and Forge, including:
- handlers to process network messages on the correct thread
- a base TileEntity implementation that simplifiy data syncronization between server and remote clients, updates and GUI handling
- helper classes and blockstate properties to handle connected textures
- standard configuration handler with built-in support for in-game configs changes
- standard ore generator with dimension whitelist support. Ores and whitelist are modifiable at runtime to support in-game configs changes
It's also the home of a revised multiblock API that support multiple client mods without performance penalities
