BiblioCraft by Nuchaz
Welcome! BiblioCraft, a useful and aesthetically pleasing Minecraft modification began at the beginning of 2013 as a response to an accumulation of many different types of books on a heavily modded server. Between the addition of enchanted books and written books in vanilla and the many mods such as Mystcraft, Thaumcraft, MineChem, ComputerCraft, Redpower and so on that add many useful types of books and plans and so forth, I started to really want a better way to store books. So I began work on BiblioCraft. Biblio comes from the Greek word meaning “book”. The bookcase is meant to be visually pleasing as well and display added books on the shelf so one can look at the bookcase and see right away how many books are there. After that I decided, why stop there?, I realized there are many other types of items that would fare well with unique, dedicated storage blocks.
1.11.2-4.1.11-b1
Blocklings by WillR27398
This mod adds small, block-like creatures into your world that spawn in most grassy areas. They can then be tamed using flowers and are able to perform different tasks for you in the world, as well as gain experience and level up. For example, your blockling will be able to guard you from evil creatures at night, go mining with you deep underground, chop away at trees as well as plant and harvest crops.

Botania by vazkii
Magic, Tech. Naturally.
Botania is a tech mod themed around natural magic. The main concept is to create magical flowers and devices utilizing the power of the earth, in the form of Mana.

The mod focuses on automation without grinding. By which systems have to be thought out and not just created by following blueprints on NEI or a wiki.

ChickenChunks by Chicken Bones
As you all should know, the minecraft world is seperated into chunks. 16x16 areas that are loaded depending on how close a player is to them. If you have machines or plants or anything that does something in a chunk that is not loaded because there are no players nearby nothing will happen.

This mod adds a block called a chunkloader, when placed it will keep chunks around it loaded even if no players are nearby or even online. So now your plants can grow and your automatic quarries can run, even when you're not around.

CompatLayer by McJty
This small mod/library has some tools that can help to make mods binary compatible between 1.10 and 1.11. If you make sure you use the api in this mod correctly it is possible to make a mod jar that runs on both versions.

A few things that you should do in addition to what this library does:

Make all resource names (lang files, model names, json files, texture files, ...) lower case in your 1.10.2 version. Add a FMLMissingMapping event handler to take care old worlds load
Mod id should be lowercase too
Replace tileEntity.worldObj with tileEntity.getWorld()
Replace entityPlayer.worldObj with entityPlayer.getEntityWorld()
This is alpha. It is likely things are not complete yet.

Deep Resonance by McJty
Deep Resonance is a power generation mod for Minecraft meant for both early game power as well as high end and more complicated end game power. This release adds oregen (the resonating ore as well as crystals) so that people can put it in their worlds already. It also has a (default disabled) retrogen option for existing worlds. In the current state of the mod you can produce crystals that give 20000 RF/tick for a total of 1 billion RF. But note that getting to that stage is not going to be easy!

Ender Storage by Chicken Bones
EnderStorage is a mod that offers a means to store your items in The END, causing them to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All EnderStorage makes use of the magic of colors to link storage with its little piece of The END. Any EnderStorage with the same color code share inventory (even across dimensions). Currently there are two types of storage, EnderChest and EnderPouch.

EnderChests are a stationary type of EnderStorage. You can use dye on the wool pads on top of the chest to alter its color code. As an alternative, you can craft an EnderChest with three dyes to change the color code as well. EnderChests work as any other chest for the purposes of blocks that manipulate chests contents. This makes EnderChests an ideal way to transport items over vast distances in an instant.

EnderPouches are a mobile type of EnderStorage. You can use an EnderPouch on any EnderChest to change the pouch color code to match that of the chest. EnderPouches access the same inventory as their EnderChest counterparts, allowing easy access to your base resources right from your inventory.

Extra Utilities by RWTema
A while ago I started tinkering with Minecraft modding as a way to better learn java. I had no serious intentions of ever making a proper mod so I basically threw in every silly and stupid idea that came to me. Most didn"t work or were impractical for a real server but there were a few that I felt had potential and even some that I heard other users wishing they had. So I"ve decided to take the best ideas, polish it up and release it to the community and see if anyone else likes it.

Not Enough Wands by romelo333
This is a mod that adds various utility wands to Minecraft. The main strength of this mod is the configurability. For every wand you can configure the following settings:

Availability (not available, only creative, easy recipe, hard recipe)
If it should use durability
If it should use XP
If it should use RF
If (and how often) it can be generated in chests
In addition some wands have specific configuration options. This makes this mod ideal for modpacks where you want to specifically control which wands are available and how.

The wands that are currently available are:

Swapping wand: select a block and make sure you have enough of that block in your inventory. Then you can replace other blocks with that block. Has a single mode, 3x3 mode, 5x5 mode and a 7x7 mode (a bit like the Wand of Equal Trade). In future this wand will also have an undo functionality.
Teleportation wand: right click forward to teleport (by default) 30 blocks. If you right click on a block then the player will be teleported on that block if there is room. If not the player will be teleported next to the block.
Capturing wand: capture any living mob (hostile or not) with a left click. Release it again with a right click.
Building Wand: extend your builds easily with this wand. Has several modes and also features undo for the last two building operations! No more accidental doubling of your floor.
Illumination Wand: light up dark places easily with this wand.
Moving Wand: pick up a block (normal blocks as well as tile entities such as chests, furnaces, spawners, aura nodes, ...) and place it down elsewhere. Configurable to make it more expensive to move some blocks and it is also possible to blacklist blocks from being moved.
Displacement Wand: push or pull blocks or a rectangle of blocks. Works on tile entities as well.
Protection Wand: protect blocks against explosions or harvesting attempts. Every wand can only unprotect blocks protected by the same wand. You can make backups of your wands.
Master Protection Wand: this wand can unprotect blocks protected by any other wand.
Acceleration Wand: this wand accelerates block ticks (like crops, saplings, ...) as well as tile entity ticks (spawners, furnaces, ...). It has three modes related to how fast it should accelerate.
Many more wands are planned. This is just the beginning.

Some wands in this mod have different modes. You can change the mode of a wand with the '=' key (default, you can change this in the key bindings).

OMLib by Keridos
Library for OMT and its companion mods. Provides the basic functionality like change owner command and the support for offline mode and RF/EU conversion. In a future update (Soon) it will also provide a tool with which you can instantly mine your owned blocks. Modders who want to make an addon for OMT also depend on this and thus should check out its source, there is probably a lot of stuff you might find useful in here. Uses Code from ComatLayer by MCJty, credits to him for creating this amazing piece of software and allowing us to use it for OMLib.

Open Modular Passive Defense by Keridos
Companion mod for OMT, adds hard blocks, walls and fences. Depends on OMLib.

You most likely know the blocks and fences from the 1.7.10 version of OpenModularTurrets. These are now in their own mod and got some unique new features: They are owned, and their owner can break those blocks instantly (now via shift-rightclicking with an empty hand, later with a tool from OMLib). Also the owner does not get damage from his own fences. If you have any more ideas for the mod please feel free to post them at the issue tracker.
MC1.11.2-1.7.0.24-b2
OpenComputers by Sangar
This mod adds computers that can be programmed in Lua 5.2 and 5.3. Computers persist across saves (i.e. execution resumes where the computer was saved when it is loaded again), they are highly modular (there are graphics cards, network cards, redstone cards, ...). If a compatible power generating mod is present, by default they will need power to run - however, like pretty much everything else about the mod, this can be changed in the config.

1.10.2-3.0.0-158-b1
OpenModularTurrets by Poenjabiesous
As the title states, the first beta builds of OMT v2.0.X is out. This release is heavy with new functionality, integration, and customization, but is fully backwards compatible with your 1.3.X worlds. However, since the dev phase is still in beta, make backups of your worlds before installing

Psi by Vazkii
Psi is a magical tech spell programming mod inspired by Mahouka. Don't worry if that doesn't make any sense.

The core of Psi is a system where you can create action sequences ("Spells") to be executed in the world. Just look to the left of this text for some examples.

This system is followed by a leveling system containing ingame documentation and tutorials of the various concepts and pieces you'll get. The mod makes use of basic mathematical concepts, such as Vectors in its systems, which allows for great flexibility on what spells can do.

1.1x-0.0.16beta-b1
The Lost Cities by McJty
The Lost Cities is a mod that allows the player to play in an old abandoned city instead of the normal overworld. When you create your world you can select 'Lost Cities' as your worldtype. You spawn in an old and partially destroyed city that takes over the entire overworld. There are highways, bridges, tunnels, a subway system, tons of dungeons with spawners and loot and so on. There are also various configuration presets (called profiles) to alter how the world is generated.

This mod is very configurable and in future versions it will be even more so. You will be able to add custom buildings and use modded building blocks.

This mod can be used server-side only (so vanilla clients can connect). To use it server side you have to use 'lostcities' as the worldtype.

Note that there is also a dimension (default ID 111) that you can travel too. This dimension can be disabled (useful if you want this for vanilla clients). But using this dimension you can keep the overworld normal and have The Lost Cities in a dimension. To go there (and back) the current way is to place a bed on top of two diamond blocks and surround it with 6 skulls. Then try to sleep in it.

If Biomes O Plenty is present there is also a Lost Cities (BoP) variant (or 'lostcities_bop' for servers) which will use Biomes O Plenty biomes.

To use a specific 'profile' (configuration profile) on a server you have to add this to your server-properties file:

generator-options={"profile":"nodamage"}

Modpack policy: Feel free to use this mod in any modpack you want.

And if this is not enough, it comes with a few integrated modules to show internal information of some specific blocks. For now, BC tanks have been implemented (shows the content, capacity and amount of fluid) and IC2 machines (shows the In/out voltage).
