Beyond Vivacity

If anyone knows how to change the title screen modpack identification where it says "Vivacity - Version 2.5" to "Beyond Vivacity - Version 1.7", let me know. We'd like to establish that this is a different mod branch from the original.

Our Beyond Vivacity Server is back on line.

At the moment our server is down. We are preparing a new minecraft project which has taken the place of our old server. The server files are still available for others wishing to run their own servers.

So the issue seems to be that the technic launcher wasn't loading the noupdate mod for some people. Not sure why this was happening since it did load for others, but the reason for the noupdate mod is to bypass the peacefulpack update check, which causes a crash because the creator of peacefulpack is no longer maintaining their update site and the game gets an html response instead of a version number response when attempting to update. We are removing peacefulpack to bypass this issue.

I've got someone who has been having trouble loading the modpack who is willing to help me test the modpack outside of the technic launcher. I suspect the problem may be technic itself, though I don't know why. At least this test will let me find out if that's the case or not.

This is weird. Some people have no trouble running this modpack, and others seem to have problems with it either all the time or only sometimes. I have no idea what's going on with it. I don't have any trouble running it on my PC, so I can't see the actual problem people are having. Can you post your crash reports?

This modpack doesn't work. It gets to the end of "Initializing Mod Phase 1", or "2/7", then it crashes. It has only worked 4 times. But now it doesn't work at all. I tried removing the mods that it last mentioned in the console, but I would have to remove every single mod before it worked. Please help or fix. P.S. I have already tried reinstalling the modpack multiple times but that doesn't work either.

So far everything seems stable with this version. We are probably not going to add any more mods to the pack for a while, due to being fairly busy.

I am in the process of updating the pack to version 1.5. This will include the removal of Chocolate Quest and the addition of Witchery.

alrighty sooo...I was just playing creative one day and after a while I just wanted to log off, but as I was leaving the game it started to not respond so of course I had to force stop it so that was fun. But next time I went to play it had deleted my singleplayer world! super mad since I had progressed so much with thaumcraft. And now when I try to load it the game either crashes trying to load or when I try and create a new world all it says is "server closed" and then the whole thing crashes! what happened???

Alternatively, I suppose you could just download BigReactors-0.4.3A.jar from the internet (google it), and place it in your mods folder yourself. That might be faster if you already have a previous version of the pack installed.

Odd. Everything is fine on my end. There must be a problem with the Technic installer. In the meantime, you can bypass it by downloading it directly from my dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xrckbd9y24rm59j/beyond-vivacity14.zip?dl=1 Note that this is the exact same link the installer is supposed to be using, since the only thing I did when I updated the mod pack was add the Bigreactors mod to the mods folder. Anyway, just download that, and unpack it into the beyond vivacity instance folder.

Ok. I reupped the modpack. Hopefully that fixes any issues.
