The latest update (0.7) seems to have issues with Macs. Open "Library/Application Support/technic/modpacks/rosepack/mods/" and delete Optifine D5. Download http://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_D3.jar and paste it in that directory.
