If you are using a mac, make sure the Minecraft Java Version is set to Latest 64-Bit, the option is in Launcher Options.
I dont know what, but i played for several hours today, and i went off for few minutes. Now i cant launch it. Minecraft never open

I don't own the server, you are going to have to talk to somebody else for that
It wont start since the last update... it loads the mojang srceen but then it shuts down

Thanks for the feedback, will get to fixing that right away.
Fixed it, just update the modpack to version 1.0.2a, I removed GLSL Shaders Mod
this mudpack does nor support the lotr official server it has the wrong forge version

It has nothing to do with Forge, it's your Minecraft client.
why cant I connect to the official lord of the rings server this is what it comes up with when I try to log in:
Java.net.connectexception: connection refused: no further information:
please help me log in the server.

This has nothing to do with the modpack, it's your client. Sorry, I can't help much there.
How are you supposed to enter the middle-earth menu when 'L' is hot-keyed to worldedit

Hit "Escape", then click "Options", then click "Controls", then scroll down to WorldEdit, and change the keybinding to something else you would like. I set it to "K", but it's up to you.
