What happened to this server? It's empty. I played like 9 months ago and now it's empty and no constructed spawn

We updated/reset the world (a few months ago) and have yet to build a spawn area. We will soon fix that.

I died in spawn and now i cant get it back because of the gravestone mod and was wondering if you could get my stuff for me.

It depends on if you are i the faction world or not. If you are then there is nothing we can do for you.

because i used the portal gun mod to make a mob spawner with normal spawners using the pick up blocks feature before that was banned. i did it because the mob spawn rates are so low a normal spawner rarely spawned annything. finally there are no endermen in the end
the sever is down due to what we think some glitch with placing something on a cable does anybody know when it will be back up

I put it back online since the crash, (it just needed a reboot) sorry about that. I will be monitoring to see if it crashes again.

Since the server files are still in the revision stages (unstable), I cannot justify releasing them to the public. Eventually I might post a file but that would be well-off into the future. While the server is being patched you can still play over LAN.

will the server ever become public again? i think it is unfair to the people who worked hard on this server for one change to make it all worth nothing. me and my friends personally invested a lot of time on this server and now that it is whitelisted we cant get back to our progress anymore. so what is going on here?

Some players found a loophole in the server and were exploiting it, we have been working to patch it. I will make the server public again once that is resolved. I have personally been very busy lately and have not had much time to work on it. Sorry, I expect to have some time to work on it this week though.

Nice i enter on the server today and i cant brake anything.... because you add the Town Plugin and my things in on my chest so i dont have money to create a Town. So please could you help me, and why dont tell to players that???

I am VERY sorry about that. I had been configuring the plugin and failed to realize that it was causing permission issues until yesterday. It should be fixed now. Please let me know If you have any further problems or concerns. (The quickest way to reach me is via the /mail command in-game).

Would anyone be interested in participating in some building competitions on the server? It would likely be week-long builds with set scoring criteria. Awards would be rare items. We were thinking sign-ups through Google forms. Let us know if you have ideas.

Okay, as I've been playing on the official server I have wanted to do more and more Thaumcraft. However, it seems that there are no nodes in the world with the exception of silverwood trees and obsidian totems.

Hmmm, you may want to ask around on that one. I don't do much with the magic stuff. I know some of the nodes are invisible unless u have a certain item tho.

I have noticed that with thaumcraft 4 nodes are not very common and far in between each other. if you can get the research to get the goggles of revealing and where those around it gets a little easier. But just running around with the initial lens doesn't allow you to see all of them. Best of luck!

I have a mod idea. Well, a couple. If you could add growthcraft (apples and grapes, etc) forestry, (For bees) and a few more aesthetic biome mods, (Not biomes a plenty) then that'd really add to the feel of the game and make kingdom style builds more fun to look at.

I said (Not biomes a plenty) but I didn't mean to remove them. I just meant that I wasn't referring to that.
Thx for the input! I've been thinking we needed something along those lines too. However, I will not be adding more mods for a while, there is still a lot of work to do on fixing game performance (such as lag/crafting issues). I will keep your suggestions in-mind for the future tho.

Can you make it so you're invincible if you have no items at all? I keep getting slaughtered by knights and I can't get my stuff back after I teleport.

Thankfully your stuff is in the gravestone, so you can go back home gear up and go back in, i recommend bronze armor and sword to fight them.

Yeah. I noticed that I had to get steel tinkers' gear before I stood a chance.
Ya those buggers can be quiet frustrating, I am in the end game on single player with some really decent armor, but the constant barrage of them doesn't actually allow me to get close to their spawners and remove them. But atleast i can stay alive.
