Unable to download, due to an error with the file "https://copy.com/Hjtlyqw8Nfeyx3hC" as it says. it said to contact the modpack author. I hope that this is able to be fixed swiftly, as I have been waiting to finally get my internet back up and download this pack for months! Thanks in advance, Emeraldruler and jgeekw!

Is Thaumcraft 5 in any group modpacks for tekkit related mods? (Unfortunately though it's hard to find a modded minecraft server in Australia or New Zealand past FTB 1.7.10)

I've looked in the book, and yet it still doesn't work. Would the positions of the outer pedestals affect it's ability to operate?

Not sure, the center multi block doesn't use the bricks anymore if that helps it only uses normal arcane stone. If that doesn't fix it then I am not sure what the problem is.
I'm having a problem with infusing, in the sense that it is nonexistent. Please somehow fix, I can't live without my silverwood wand.

If you are having issues it may be that it might not be fully implemented. This is still the latest version of the mod currently so I am not sure how to fix your issue. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I actually tested it, infusion works still. The structure build has changed slightly so just take a look in the book.
So if i wanted to host a server for this modpack for just me and some friends how would i do it?

Somehow all vanilla items have dull pale coloring... Not sure why but with every other modpack I tried it was ok...

It is optifine... I am currently unavailable to fix it but you can just go into the pack folder and delete optifine if it is bugging you.
This is so confusing... how do I get more aspects? The Thaumometer doesn't give any aspects! Also, I found two nodes right near each other, one with 63 terra and the other 50 peridito! But I can't use either! I can't find ANYTHING on the internet! I think some of us should start a wiki. That would be better if we had a server, too. So three things: make it less confusing on getting aspects, make a server and start a wiki. (if you start a wiki tell me if it's on gamepedia or wikia or whatever you use)

The mod has changed massively, you no longer earn research points by scanning, also your wand fills from the aura in the chunk. There is a wiki but it is only for Thaumcraft 4 currently. Also actually read the Thaumonomocon it will tell you everything you need to know hence the reasons for it existing.
Also on the server thing: servers cost money, money which I do not have also people can grief so I would not be able to make a server.
The thaumometer brings key aspects for rechear new stuff. But when you put a new research to develop, the research table bring you a determined number the basic aspects to combine and complete the discover. Is a bit confuse, but when learn a bit is even easier than before.
The wand draw the vis from the aura of the chunck, aura that replenish slowly itself. Nodes i dont know how works

Now is working to me :D . But, i miss any map mod, is hard to travel searching nodes and ruins without minimaps :/

Ok no, isnt working propertly... whenever i look at redstone, the game crashes and when reopen the world, closes again and again and again... -_-

Sorry to hear about your issues but it may be a while before I can update the pack as I am having computer issues at the moment.
Solved the issue, is a problem with the tooltips. When turned off, redstone ore no longer crashes the game :)

From what I have read it may have to do with our download provider, copy.com, or it may be Thaumcraft itself as it was just released and if it is Thaumcraft we will just have to wait until an update thank you all for your patience with this.
This is just me trouble shooting: I have only tested this on Windows so Linux or MacBook might not work not sure though, optifine may bug out a little reason I can't remove it is because ironicly i don't deal with the mods bit of this I just have a friend helping with that so I woul have to contact him to see if he can fix it.

Also it may be Thaumcraft as it was just released a week or two ago hence it will be buggy and I will continue to check for updates to the mod so that most bugs will be fixed as possible.
I dont get the problem of downloading, it works fine for me and my computer is crap.

The pack is awsome btw. You could add waila to help a little.
It looks like the pack was updated or something because now I am also able to download it. But I assure you - at this time yesterday I was COMPLETELY unable to download this pack. It wasn't our computers...it was the site the modpack creator was using to host his pack. Read comments, don't make assumptions, and try to be nicer in future.

Go ahead and give it another try. I was getting the same error and then suddenly I am able to download it now. I guess the creator got more bandwidth or the bandwidth reset or something.

then your computer gotta be one of the worst in the world. its only 7 mods, only 2 of them doing any changes that you can see directly. And it works without problems for me and my computer is kind bad.
