Out of nowhere, a pig snout appeared on my character and it keeps making pig noises. I can't get rid of it at all; there's nothing in my inventory. I need help removing it!

Have you tried following the Logistics Pipes guide? https://www.devzero.com/gaming/lp-tutorial/ Applied Energistics is a new approach to the same concept that did not exist back in the very early days, however if you want you could add it yourself manually 🙂
Hi guys, in my world there are so little mobs like really I see two at night when I fly around big distance and I have the difficulty for hard. Any idea why it could be please?

How do I see the list of mods in NEI?
The area at the top where it normally is, is empty.

You can't see the list of mods there, but you can find it in-game as a Mods list, and also here in the platform under the Mods tab! Then, search using @ModName
Where can I find the mod list from previous versions that were removed with recent updates? I'm having trouble finding some of my favorite mods that were taken out.

There are some Tekkit SMP playthroughs on Youtube, but also feel free to check out Tekkit 2 videos, and then specific content covering Thaumcraft, Mystcraft and Mo' Creatures!

I've been playing this on and off for a couple of months now (not much of a gamer anymore) after playing it years ago - thanks so much to the team keeping this gem alive.
There are two things I want to try in a Minecraft modpack, but I can't stop playing Tekkit to try something else. So, this may be a bit "out of scope" for Tekkit but it's worth a shot:
Is there any chance of adding mods which enhance villages/villagers (to give us more reason to interact with them) and also the Create mod (which seems interesting and in theme with Tekkit's industrial side).
Anyway, thanks again. I have so much fun (and frustration) with Tekkit.

Really glad you've been enjoying it 🙂 As for the suggestions, Create does not exist for this version of Minecraft, and for enhancing villages feel free to experiment with manually adding Village Names, or maybe TekTopia or Millenaire!
hello there, i would like to ask a quick question, me and my friend are hosting a server and actively playing on it, we have been having an issue with voxel map on and off, basically the minimap loads ans eem to be working fine, but when my friend logged off yesterday and logged in today just to find out the minimap was black, and now all the chunks that were loaded yesterday are unloaded, on top of that even if he's op and he has waypoints he cannot teleport to them cause the chunks are unloaded, i have had the very same issue on the tekkit 2 but couldn't find a reliable fix, so my question is, is it possible that you decide to use a different minimap mod? we tried to lookm for bug reports from other people but noone seems to be having our same issues, i am on windows 11 and my friend is using linux, so i would assume the problem is related to the mod, do you somehow happen to know how to fix that? thank you in advance :D

If you know how to reproduce the issue it'd be great to report it over https://github.com/ACGaming/VoxelMapFixes/issues although if you want, you can also manually replace the minimap mod :)

I'd recommend you contact Nitrado, or use a different server host such as Akliz (https://www.akliz.net/tekkit-smp).
thx for the fast reply´s i got the server now running with the batch folder, now i got one more question in my crafting menu if i wanne to put some items automatically in my workbench i got an error saying i need to install hei items to get it work how can i do this?

No—SMP is a part of the modpack's name. That being said, there are community servers for the modpack, check out Technic's Discord!

You are encouraged to use Logistics Pipes or Project Red storage systems instead 🙂 But if you want, you can add it manually to your end!
The forge jar file for the server keeps getting stuck anyway to fix it?

You need to launch the server using the script, rather than the Forge jar file!

Hey, quick question: How do I set up LAN? I have ensured both computers have java allowed through the firewall, and when I host on one, I do see it pop up as a LAN on the other computer, but when I attempt to connect, I always get a timed out message. I have also tried direct connect and add server. Same issue. i have tried hosting on both devices in case the problem was a setting on one.
I am playing through the tekkit launcher.

Replying to add I have also restarted the machines in case that was an issue, and that Blightfall runs in LAN fine.

Absolutely loving this pack. The only thing so far i can request is possibly updating galaticraft to the newest version? So much more planets to explore.
Also, a great addition would be to add storage drawers to the pack, the mod is essential to work with IC2. They link up with the industrial worktable, and without it, its useless.
Of course i added the storage drawers to my own server, but having to send files to my not so techincal friends is a pain, so its addition to the pack would be wonderful!

Thanks for the feedback! I'd recommend using Black Hole Units. There's a playthrough on Youtube connecting them with an Industrial Worktable. Also, Galacticraft is running the latest version!
Interesting, i searched everywhere for another option, and couldn't find anything other than storage drawers as thats what ic2 wikis references. Ill definitley look into that! As far as a galcticraft, this pack definitely uses a very very old version. Theres only mars, mercury, moon, and asteroids. Where as the newest version in conjuction with extra planets has 10 plus planets all the way up to a tier 10 electric rocket!

That'd be Galacticraft addons, which are intentionally not present in Tekkit SMP to keep things more focused, but feel free to add them yourself :)
New update is awesome! Fixed an annoying bug we were having with mystcraft on the server. I did have a question though, the original tekkit pack had a few mods that allowed the moving of spawners, now it seems SMP doesnt have a way to move mob spawners or am i missing it? MFR was how i used to do it. Either way, great update and thanks for the pack!

Thank you for the feedback :) You can spawn mobs using the Industrial Foregoing mod, which is a continuation of MFR!
Awesome appreciate the help! Another question, im sorry for bombarding you lol. Is it possible to integrate ic2 with mystcraft? I would love some pages with ic2 blocks. For example there's mystcraft pages for vanilla ores like iron, gold etc. Same with blocks of iron and so forth. Would it be possible to add pages for ic2 ores and blocks? copper, tin, uranium etc. I cant seem to find anything online to make it possible, whether it be just on my server or if you could add it to the pack that would be awesonme! Thanks again for this awesome pack!

Grateful for Tekkit and how far it is has come, reacquainted with Tekkit2 but switched to SMP; overall SMP is well-tuned with extra items and fresher atmosphere with the additions.
If you cannot decide between 2 and SMP, SMP is better most definitely.

too bad Extra Utilities isn't in here, the magnum torch would be very helpful.
