Install The_World

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The_World) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The_World from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Personally, I would say don't move from 1.7.10.

I might not, but the performance issues i have had in the past/that i have with the current version of the pack needs to be resolved. If you could comment on mods that for this version hogs FPS please notify me

It seems to be a variety of mods, a few i've noticed some difference after removing was dynamiclights, MCA, malisis, moreplayermodels, growthcraft and hats. I removed all of them and got slightly less performance issues than before. Not sure which of them caused the most issues but either way I got less after removing them.

I am considering removing MCA, DynamicLights can be toggled by pressing L, Malisis should only tear a bit on the video-rendering with the 3D models, moreplayermodels is a dangerous mod and needs to be restricted in a few ways, growthcraft should be fine, and hats should be fine.
