was singleplayer removed in 2.1? All it shows now is the option to join the server

We had it disabled for a short while so that we could test mods. We didn't want people starting up their own worlds for them to be messed with as we change things in the resource pack.
Singleplayer is now an option as of a few versions ago in MageBlox.
Great modpack, and worth playing on it's own, even if you don't like the server. I tried the server, but it was incorrectly labeled. There is no option for PvE. This IS a PvP server, and you can and will be killed by other players. So, I went offline, and started a new file. I did have to modify a few settings, but that's not too hard. Strangely, even the server was incorrectly setup. When you login, it mentions a biome ID warning (or it did when I was there). I was able to easily correct this by taking the time to find all the various biome IDs, and change any duplicates. Just remember, there is a biome ID cap (255, I believe). I also had to unlock Ars Magica 2's research, as sequential progression is apparently bugged (this is well known, as I learned). So, sure, maybe I couldn't make use of Witchery's PvP potiential (and hey, I don't like playing as a villain anyways, and oh boy do they make use of villainy in that mod!), but overall, it was fun!
As always, though, any modpack will decrease in stability as you increase the number of mods, due to a combination of mod interaction and the various bugs each individual mod brings. This isn't unique here, but I did see some standard issues come up from time to time, such as Thaumcraft 4's occasional reset of all a player's research aspects, for example. Since I was in single player, it was easy enough to rectify with cheats and/or creative mode each time a new problem arose. =)

While the server does have PvP enabled, we have keep-inventory on, which is supposed to discourage raiders and what not. People tend to abuse mods in towny, but I have tried to explicitly tell people that if you can't access something by purely vanilla means, and you do so through a mod, you're exploiting. So yeah, there is PvP, but I have taken away the incentive.
As for the issues, a lot of the ones we have aren't something we can personally rectify server-side. The other administrator of our server, who is also a developer and does some plugin work has stated that many issues are not presently fixable, such as ID conflicts, due to improper documentation or a lack thereof. Some mods have also lost support for in this version, I believe.
Either way, I am glad you enjoy the mod, even though the server may not be your cup of tea. We eventually plan on resetting the server and starting on a higher version, but that's far from now with no ETA. We plan to tell people when we are actually making the motions to do it.

I got Recently banned from Mageblox, with as reason: ''Using a exploit item to break claimed blocks'' i got immediatly banned without any chance to explain or to get explained.. The fact that you can break certain blocks somehow and then getting banned is not quiet fair..

go onto any server and say the same thing. bans from exploits exist because not everything can be prevented by a plugin. if you arent willing to face the consequences of your actions, then that's on you. good riddance.
My entire house has been regenerated along with all chests and a village has spawned right near it. This better be fixed.

A lot of bases are unrecoverable due to full world corruption. I'm willing to reimburse items and I am also willing to help rebuild.

MageBlox is back up and running. Sorry for the issues, there was corruption.
DimensionalDoors worlds were erased due to corruption. We will reimburse lost stuff.
I gotta say, there is this glitch where I don't get the parasytic louse when I kill it. I have lost two louses because of this and it is getting quite annoying.

BiblioCraft had problems witn numbers of loaded player models, causing crashes/lag.
MCA may conflict with Witchery (which requires villagers.)
I don't really see the point of MineFantasy2. You'll have to elaborate on what its use is. From what I saw it deals with crafting, may conflict.

Is your account premium? If you're having issues, add a user in technic and re-sign in.

Having a few issues since the last update... Just some graphics glitches, but it's extremely annoying. Shadows flashing, world glitching so I can see through into caves and lava pits and the like. Kinda dangerous when I'm underground. I also can't adjust my render distance or brightness, as it just seems to make the glitching worse. I wouldn't think it'd be my graphics card, since everything's been perfectly fine up til the 1.10 version that was just done. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and fiddling with my graphics.

there is no error. It seems to be on your end. Can you show me a console output of running "ping mc.b-craft.org" in CMD.
May have something to do with an antivirus blocking technic or our modpack, possibly a firewall.
As a note. We had issues with toxic players recently. They simply could not handle that any attempt at invincibility will result in a nerf. They got nasty, they got banned. Toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
