Odd. I haven't heard of anyone having difficulties installing. Are there any error messages or any other information you could give us so we can figure it out?
And, in case you weren't aware, the official server is currently offline while the modpack is being redone and reworked, but updates will be posted at www.galaxy-craft.com if you want to be updated.
Are you installing the recommended build (1.2.13) or a later build? The newer builds are not tested, and may not work.

We added it once a year or so ago, and the results were disastrous. We may add Archimedes' Ships, which would be a lot more balanced and less destructive.
