I have been trying to play this modpack for a while now, 3 days specifically, and just get stuck at the Mojang screen, this doesn't happen to any other modpacks I play, and reinstalling it does not fix the problem! I have enough ram for it, as I have played significantly bigger packs then this perfectly fine

Hey, I don't know if this modpack is still active or not but, the server posted on the main page wont let me connect so, i don't know what is going on but if the ip updated or something please fix it. Thanks!
Having a problem in my world, I can't craft Grout. It exists, and I can see a recipe for it if I hit "r" on it in the menu thingy, but if I arrange the materials in a table or other crafting place, it won't show up in the output box for crafting.

Im still not finding a server. Neither the one listed as hosted by Power Eclipse or the one I found that Minstrel hosted show as even existing when I put in the IP,

Hey guys, this looks fantastic and I am a big fan of steampunk but when I start the pack it starts up, gets as far as the Mojang screen and then shuts down before returning to the Technic platform! can anyone help fix this, it would really help as this is not the first pack to do this to me, please help!

I can't even get past the black :/
Increase your memory alottment for java by clicking on the white gear in the upper right corner of your technic launcher. Then click on java settings and increase it a bit. I'm running mine at 4gb and it's working great. Hope this helps!

Completely enjoying this pack! I've already neglected a few others because of it. I like the tooling progression quite a bit as it adds a bit of depth to the progression of things. The world generation made for some interesting islands and great scenery. Even building seems to be a bit more interesting since adding a few more blocks around a bend can show even more. I would strongly recommend this pack to anyone who has enjoyed a Skyblock type map before but I suspect it would appeal to a much wider range of players as well.

After trying this modpack myself, Took about 30mins to get going on a normal minecraft seed.. I had a challenge with my 4 friends (Including myself) on a floating island seed.. To get fully settled down.. Being no lava, and very little clay on this island.. It was almost impossible, we finally got a smeltery about 1 1/2 hours later, Finally we were able to do things with TinkersConstruct.. This modpack brought a real challenge that most modpacks don't! I LOVE IT! If you mean for this modpack to be hard or not, We had the most challenging time ever and it was fun! Even though we aren't the brighest of people i will admit, This IS a really fun modpack! Keep up the AMAZING Work!

Mike, thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge! My goal was to make the game, especially early on, non-trivial. Not necessarily hard, but challenging in the sense that not everything you need is lying on the ground waiting to be picked up. If something isn't available on the island you start on, there's almost always an alternate way of getting it using Ex Nihilo. I wish more of the processes for that mod had NEI integration. You can manufacture lava, clay, string, and a number of basic ores with it. The only thing I feel is missing at the moment is an early game way to get leather without cows.

Thanks, Daemonias. If that lava/water part you mention is making obsidian in the smeltery, there's another means of doing that. Place a bucket of lava in an Ex Nihilo stone barrel, and then empty a bucket of water into the space directly above the barrel. The lava will be turned to obsidian which can be pulled out to hand.

I agree. I play with JourneyMap, but the author of that mod gives very few modpacks permission to include it, so I can't package it up for inclusion in this pack. It works fine if you download it yourself and drop it in the mods folder. Other maps are also available.

I found another weird looking block, 1076:15, its from the mod metallurgy 4. the name is tile.metal.block.fantasy.ore.name To be honest I woudn't mind having the metallurgy mod out of the modpack.

Eureka! I have found it! There is a typo in my CoFH controlled Metallurgy generation configuration. That should be :14, atlarus ore. There is no :15. It'll be fixed for the next update, thanks!
