Amazon's charging me $15 a month because of all the traffic/downloads on the pack and I can't afford any new expenses right now, I'm broke. In both Time and Money. Sry I can't help you guys out. Feel free to duplicate the resources/files/configs in my pack and create your own. I'm not here to become famous or make money, I just wanted to play some custom Minecraft with my friends. I don't have it in me to pay for and manage a popular modpack along side my day's work. : (

there are other free hosting sites that work similar to drop box public folder and amazon. you just have to search for them.

Yeah i can check out your mod additions, right now i'm looking to add Gravestones, Item Physics, Better Foliage, Aquatic Abyss, and Multi mine. These are aimed to improve immersion.

I would like to host an offical server but there will need to be rules in place so the community stays healthy. I am thinking of doing a white list were only 5 new members a week. This will be so if we have any greifers we could see what new members that have revently been added then go from there. this would also stop random one timers. Also could have an invite system if you know some one on the inside that can speek on your behalf as a good player. you can make it pop up as the offical but put in the discription on how to join.

I've decide not to host a public server due to security/costs :( , however I do have a server download available if you want to host your own server and invite your friends to it. ^-^

Yo modpack maker. for the server you may make add me on skype: thatorio. I have a couple people who want to build mostly me because the other ones have lives. and I have another friend who helps me build. But we could build any kind of spawn you like. Towns, Hubs anything you want. But for the server I'd go with a medium sized walled city.
I really love this modpack, although I came into a few errors with the ships mod. I recommend using Archimedes ships, would be better for those short tempered people like me. Thanks!

Agreed, the ships mod causes some errors.
What errors have you had? I haven't seen any so far. D: I've had much more fun with the ships mod because of it's ability to allow my party to function/walk around/cook/craft on board while we sail around the ocean, Archimedes ships forces your crew members to sit in chairs and that's no fun. Personally I would like to keep the ships mod. But you guys are welcome to swap the mods yourself, In the mods folder remove the Ships mod and then download the 1.7.10 version of Archimedes ships and any supporting mods required for it to run, then place them in the mods folder and you're good to go!

Ah the actual mod I was thinking of was called MineTweaker. Some other mods worth a mention are some of Pam's mods, ExtraTiC, Better rain and The Morbid Harvester; it adds some what of a super boss to fight which is always nice. And as for my personal version since I'm a complete masochist I've added Enviromine and Weather and tornadoes. As for now I believe that you have most of the mods that you need. I think the thing that needs to be worked on is overall immersion. You've got the setting but now I feel like you need to get players sucked it, make them feel like they're in the world.
I have an idea for a public server so you don't have to constantly moderate it or really do much with it. Possibly you could just create a spawn with a kind of /warp random set up or /wild to take people to the wild. give out basic rules; do's and don'ts and then have the players build their own kingdoms and their own economy.

I mean that sounds pretty badass. ;D I could probably spend a weekend setting it all up. If you want to help me with it I could start up a a server and give you the ip to join and we could work In game together on the specifics.

Not really xD I've tried to make so many medieval servers but they all failed because I lacked the resources xD
Alright, I've done some research and have come to the conclusion that i'm not going to host a public server. Hosting from my computer would pose security risk to my personal documents and I wouldn't be able to turn it off without disrupting players experiences. Then online hosting is way too pricey for me, sure if i was going to use the sever myself maybe I could justify it, but I'm not even going to use the server... Sorry mate, :( you can feel free to just copy the mods and configs I have so far and start your own pack, but as for me I'm content with playing on private servers with my friends for free.

after playing with your mod for a while another awesome feature would be the nexus invasion mod. It would blend nicely with the ancient warfare structures and armies. Another is Battle gear 2, it adds shields and the ability to dual wield!

Great suggestions! I'll test out those mods and see what i think. NeverMine 2 looks sick and Nexus Invation would be a great way to put your kingdom to the test.
I'll look into the public server, I may not have enough free time to manage project that big though. But it sounds like a lot of fun :D

Well I've been testing out Battle gear 2 along side with Tinkers defense which adds compatibility between Tcontruct and Battle gear. I'm also experimenting with psychedelicraft just for the semi-realistic alcohol system it adds. And lastly the mod that I've also been testing with your modpack is Level up! it adds a class and point system making the game have a more RPG feel and for the public server if you go with what I suggested the entire server could be self governed.

I'm completely new to public server setup, so it would take me quite some time to learn it all and get it running correctly. I really only play with close friends so I haven't played much online and am unfamiliar. I mean if people want compensate my time It would be worth wile, but it seems like a lot more effort and my friends and I wouldn't even play on it. :(
I don't know if you got the same error log but if I replace 'Divine Rpg' with 'Nevermine 2' There's a compatibility issue with 'Minecraft Comes Alive'. :( so i would have to get rid of it, unless there's a way to config it so they work together.

Yeah I found that too. maybe with MCEdit you could fix it that's if you know how to use MCEdit though. I have no idea how to fix it. it seems to just be an enchantment ID conflict. the enchantment seems to be ID 100
Oh yeah and a good mod to replace divine RPG would be Never mine 2. I'm pretty sure it's made by the same mod author.
to be more precise possible a public server with factions or something of the sorts. But to increase over all trade and co-operation between several different factions make the economy player base so the players decide what something is worth. IE Diamond could be worth x amount of coin while in another kingdom it could be worth a lot more. This will add an interesting dynamic economy.
Public server with a custom terrain map would be pretty awesome.
