Well judging by how the state of the overworld is, it was most likely two disasters: 01.) Nuclear Arms war 02.) Or a meteorite (Big enough to change climate, but not big enough to destroy all life)
Love the combination of mods with the mix of classic and modified minecraft mobs. The Aftermath of destruction leaves me wondering what happened to the overworld, and why is there an occasional oasis surrounded by ash. Amused by the fact that the amount of death in the overworld knocked the grasslands right into the nether, where grass goes when it all dies.
