Install Simply Minecraft Classic

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Simply Minecraft Classic) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Simply Minecraft Classic from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Why don't we have the option to launch any version but the one you just pushed out? My server won't be updating for a few days, I could be playing if I just had the option to launch the version I've already got downloaded. What's the point of having "Latest", "Recommended", and picking your own if they're all just the same option?

Because the pack is still in early development, latest will be the 1.8 experimental branch once that starts.
