Install Tekxit 3 [Official]

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekxit 3 [Official]) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekxit 3 [Official] from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Alright everyone .90 and hotfixes .91/.92 have been released, Buildcraft and Railcraft are now present and many mods have been updated and changes have been made. Have fun playing Tekxit! Just remember it is still in BETA. :)

Yo, theres a tool ingame that will help you mine ores if you havent already heard of it, and its super useful. Its called a "Hammer" and you can craft it like a pickaxe, except with 2 extra diamonds/ingots in the middle row. It will mine in a 3x3 area and you can use it to substitute the mod vein miner for now.

Yo theres a bug thats so annoying. I want steel ingots. It tells me to cook iron in the furnace. I cook iron in the furnace. I get refined iron. I HATE REFINED IRON, AND I NEED STEEL

Currently you make steel in an iron furnace, and refined iron in an electric furnace. I think it's a bug.

I mean that I think the bug is needing steel for many things instead of refined iron.

Can you fix the whole steel/refined iron situation? All the ic2 recipes have been changed to take steel instead of refined iron, but steel can only be made in a coal powered furnace, while refined iron must be made in an electric furnace. It is at least an annoyance that I have to keep both kinds around, since it kind of negates the efficiency benefits of using an electric furnace. Could you please remedy this? Either make the electric furnace produce steel, or switch the recipes back. Also, you craft machine blocks with steel, but if you try to de-craft them, they give you refined iron.
