Zombiecraft Classic 2.0 SDK Version 1.0

created by TheRenegadist on Minecraft 1.3.1

Welcome to the SDK re-release of Zombiecraft Classic 2.0! This exists purely for mappers to use to create custom maps! This is NOT for playing the main game unless you're testing your maps, this is purely for map makers.

If you want to just play the mod you can find it here: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/zombiecraft-classic-20.573774

This version of the mod includes TooManyItems, Singleplayer Commands, and WorldEdit all of which should aid you in creating some amazing maps!

If you'd like to discuss Zombiecraft 2.0 including mapping, playing, anything, join my stream Discord since we have a dedicated channel for all things ZC 2. Note that this is primarily for my streams so you will be pinged when I stream. To join click on the "Visit Modpack Website" button on the right!

Getting Started: To get started open up Dev Map on the menu, once in-game open up your inventory and if you don't see TooManyItems on press your "O" key. Press F6 until you can break blocks, now you are able to spawn in whatever you need to get mapping!

For more advanced stuff you can press "T" to access Singleplayer commands which you can use to make your mapping a little easier using commands like fly, damage, instantmine, killnpc, setspeed, noclip, and more or just type "help" to pull up the full list of commands.

Finally, if you spawn the wood axe you can use WorldEdit as well. All you need is the wooden axe and a knowledge of the commands, tutorials will be linked below.

!IMPORTANT!

To save your map you can't simply press "Save and quit" and expect to go right back in, if you do this your work will be reset. In order to fully save your map follow these steps:

  1. Save and quit to title once you're finished for the session
  2. Close the game and navigate to the modpack directory
  3. Inside you'll see zcmaps and zctemp, go into zctemp
  4. Open up the folder for whatever map you were working on
  5. If needed go into map.txt and modify it with the info you want
  6. Select everything inside the folder and using your preferred archiver zip everything up as a .zip
  7. Place the new .zip into your zcmaps and rename it if needed
  8. Done, you must do this every time you want to save your map

Alright, with all that out of the way I'm going to link various things below which can help you get into mapping for ZC 2 including tutorials, resources, etc!
