Why, you ask? It's down again. Wow... the hosting machine does keep messing up.
It's up, the hosting machine keeps messing up so it will keep going down from time to time, sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyway to fix this????
I bet that the server will be successful. We just have to be patient. :)

for me the server was up for like 5 mins then timed out hasn't worked since then

Just a quick update as you all seem curious, server is back up!
Is it really? It keeps saying 'Failed to connect to the server, Timed out'
you said it is on it is not unless the ip changed
does anyone know when it will be up again

As Lofty, Madi and I had stated earlier, they had wished for it to be up by today, however, that would have only been possible with the help of their higher ups. Obviously, it didn't occur as the server is still down today. They can't make any promises, but just keep checking for updates. They are probably aiming to have it up by this weekend, but no promises can be made.

It was up for a period of time, although I believe that it was a mistake that it was up. Look at the forums at jacgaming or here for updates.

Hey guys, server is currently down for everyone due to problems at the hosting machine. As needleblade said earlier, hopefully things will be back up by wednesday but I can't make any promises.
When's estimated time of server un-whitelisting?

Like Madi said earlier, they can't make any promises. They hope to have up it by Wednesday this week, but that is only with the help of their higher ups, so it will be a while.

increase the RAM of your launcher
Steps:
1) Open up your Technic Launcher
2) Near the top right corner it should say Launcher Options, click that
3) At the tabs near the top, select JAVA SETTINGS
4) Look for Memory and select atleast 4-5 GB to run the pack.
5) If you are at the max GB that you can, then you need to update your Java to a 64-bit.

Continuing on with what Madi said, they whitelisted the server to ensure that no one else becomes corrupted. Until the issue is fixed, staff are the only ones able to get on in order to lower the amount of people that become affected.
so how long will the whitelist last do you think?

Hopefully not too long, but I can't promise anything. We are hoping to have it up by Wednesday this week, but that can only happen if the higher-ups can help us.
Oh, that's the reason for the whitelist.
I play regularly on the server, i don't any problems with file corruptions, can i be on the whitelist? i am M4x1m0.

Sadly, no one but the staff are allowed to be whitelisted because we do not want more file corruptions happening, and it would be unfair to the other players. Sorry
