If I upgrade my game, will I lose my map because of GalactiCraft? And why did they remove the mod?

you will not loose the map, but you will loose all the blocks from galacticraft
GalactiCraft has a number of issues with other mods so it had to be removed. I have added the mod back in for the next update. The next update should be out later today.
what is the reason that the galacticraft core mod has been removed from the modpack?

Ya I feel like Galacticraft was like one of the biggest mods from tekkit

exactly, me and my friend had a HUUGE map where we used galacticraft... and now we can't play it

Computercraft has not been updated for 1.11.2, but I have added in builders wands and draconic evolution into the pack in the upcoming update.

You can download: http://sleepingtea.xyz/modpacksabout/ But v4 had huge stability issues so I recommend you play v5

For now. If you want to play v4 so you can use the mod still then go to the kinetic website. The mod was removed as it was causing stability issues so I recommend you play v5
Alright, fair enough. Do you think we'll see an alternative in the pack eventually? Maybe something like Advanced Rocketry? Other than that, great pack!
I am trying to host a LAN server. When I try to join, it fails to connect due to mods being rejected. The server is 4.3.2, but the technic launcher is only supporting 4.3.3, could this be the problem?

The server files hadn't been updated to v5 yet. Try downloading the new ones and try again :D

When i open the minecraft_server file it comes up for a second and then like closes
To start the server you need to press on the forge jar
I love this modpack, it has all my favourite mods inside and its server compatible, but i really miss the following Mods: Carpenters Blocks, Agricraft (perfect with Pams Harvestcraft) and Mr. Crayfishs Furniture Mod (I like to decorate my houses :D). i would really appreciate it, if you try to add these mods! Thanks for your time and your employment you spend in this amazing Modpack! p.s my english is not the best right now
Hello, I'm really glad you are enjoying the pack. I did look into add Carpenters Blocks and Agricraft when I made the pack. Unfortunately, they haven't yet been updated to 1.11.2. As for Mr.Carayfishs Furniture Mod, that has been and will work on adding it in the next update.
Okay, i hope you will add it when its updated. It makes a lot of fun to play with a friend on a server so thank you for that :3
I hope EnderIO will be updated soon so you can add it too, because thats the last mod we need to be 100% efficient in our world :D

How do I power a quarry??? I've tried a bunch of different power sources but none of them seem to work.

Can not help myself. The game and my world is loading but then a few seconds later the game crashes. I also have a problem with Justenoughitems when i open my invnetory in this world. Can somebody help me please?

Please elaborate on the JEI issue. How much RAM do you have allocated? It seems this modpack needs atleast 3-4 GB. If you can't allocate more RAM get 64 bit Java.
Gave the game around 10 gb of ram...
What update did you last open your world in?

Hello really enjoying this modpack, but I really miss Compact solar (HV solar panels for IC2). Could you possibly add it?

Hello, I'm glad you are enjoying the pack. The HV solar panels were an IC2 addon sadly it hasn't been updated to 1.11.2, but I will keep an eye out.
In the new server i can't see the gui, why?

Sorry, what I mean is, I run a server (On my own PC) to play with my friends and since the latest update I can't find the server GUI anymore (The window with all the informations such as Tickrate/Ramuse/CC) and therefore when I now start the server it starts without a GUI and stays in the background which causes windows to not give it priority leading to an increase in tickrate, I think the reason is one of the mods added in the 4.3 update since when I copied the 4.3 mods in the 4.2 folder (Which used to ran perfectly) the problem appeared...
Try starting the server with a .bat file
Well, when I start it via .bat the server simply crashes as it reaches a tickrate of about 1/60s and, even if didn't crash, doesn't solve the problem of the GUI not appearing as I still only have the CC and nothing else
With .bat i've gived 4gb max and 2 gb min.

ok, the problem is from sponge plugin wich disables server gui for performance issues. I have rewrited a .bat file and now starts with it. I have only console but is ok if is for performance gain.
When I start my server and when it's almost done, I get a message from glacticcraft that he can not perform an update check what can I do here.

you can disable the update check in the Galacticraft\core.conf. open with notepad and search for "Update check" and set to false.

This shouldn't stop your server from working. If the server is crashing it will be something else.

I updated my game and The server that I put there was there. But no official thing.

What version is Thermal Expansion in this pack? Because I can't find a correct Wiki Page where I can find the stuff I need. Also consider adding MineFactory Reloaded :)

why did you remove Mekanism? It's a great mod.
When I updated Buildcraft to the latest build Mekasism had a number of conflicts. I'm working on putting the mod back into the pack as soon as I can.
