I cant seem to get on the pack. When i press play it loads but it doesnt pop up.
Java 7/8 and 64bit.
Same thing happens to me, I got Java 8 and 64 bit but it still won't start.
MOUSIELADY You may have more than one version of Java in your computer. You can check on the Launcher settings and see (:
I read the new update was today but i dont see it on my launcher????? is this pack abandoned no update in a while i want the new witchery update and all the other ones!!!!! so many new updates im excited for new pack update plz make it come out soon modpack guy :D :D :D :D

The modpack was updated a week ago, I think that's a little far from abandoned lol. The new update was supposed to come out today but he delayed it until tomorrow since he's busy! Yes, very cool mod updates recently but hang on a little longer. Updating each mod one by one and verifying everything still works together config wise is a daunting process and takes some time. Wouldn't want to open a exploit or crash or two ;)

So i'm just letting you know this Mr Modpack Owner.
There's something wrong with the werewolf transition skin, You can go into the wolf form (wolf, and werewolf) and in FP you're able to see yourself shrink down too size or see your hand change, but in 3rd person your body stays the same. (players see the same thing, so even if you're a little wolf, they'll see a regular you.)
Now, I'm just thinking it's a Modpack issue (not too blame the modpack) but when I reinstalled the mod (same version) onto my Vanilla MC I was able to see myself change.
Note: This happens in Sing player and Mulitplayer.
I also installed the new version of Witchery onto the modpack and it was still the same.
You should report that, see where on the "HELP" Section.

Ok, so i run the game, Minecraft comes up, but it goes black and says "Not Responding." What do I do?

it loaded, but is really slow. is it because i need more space or RAM on my computer?
Well Basically I'm trying to help this guy;
He can't allocate more than 1GB of Ram.
So I thought, Ok i'll fix this easily. So I've sent him about 8 different versions of Java...And each time he tries to open one it says the following
"This version of Java is not compatible with the current Windows os you're using."
So, I thought maybe it had to be a problem with the Drivers (Just a Guess) but It wasn't...
So can you help us?
If he can't allocate more than 1GB of RAM he had Java 32bit. Just tell him to uninstall all the Java versions he installed and install Java 8 64bit if his system can support 64bit :)
There's the problem.. :\ I'm pretty sure he can't support 64 bit.
We've actually already tried uninstalling the Java(s) and it was just a waste of time...
So I guess he'll need a new OS or something... :\

For anyone that isn't able to allocate enough Ram or it crashing.

Downloading Java 8 is recommended (8 > 7) even though it won't fix every issue on your computer.

But I was helping someone get it fixed and the problem they had was everytime they tried to use a Java 8 jre it would tell them they were outdated. or there computer was, so I thought it would be about updating drivers or the computer itself, but when I found this one it worked....
But you're right. I'm on java 8 just transitioning from 7 and I can actually see a great difference :D
Java 8 ? ew. The security issues on java 8 are UNBEARABLE. I can't use ANYTHING java related online because it won't have its "drivers signed" and you can't turn down the security on java 8. It's forced.

Hey nice mudpack btw! One thing for me personally i do not like the over the top robotic mods that involve space or wiring/pipes. I love the magic/rpg/adventure aspect. Can i play through this modpack without having to deal with any of the mechanical mods? Or should i just pull out all those mods before i play?

Yes, You definitely can...That's how I like my modpacks personally aswell, but this is perfect.
Of course you can! You don't have to play with anything, we just provide you a stable option to use everything :)
Whenever I hit install it gos through and gets to installing libraries and just stops at 44%,

I really want to play but I can not get in? I have put the settings to java 1.7 java 64-bit and 2GB but it loads up with that hour glass thing. It says "initialising" and just closes itself! Please help!

Hi. I'm just here to suggest a mod to add (if you don't take requests than ignore this) but you should add MCA! (Minecraft Comes Alive) IT mainly adds better villagers that you can marry, have kids with, and more!

I was thinking the same thing. I think it would be awesome on the server.
Plus the witchery update adds walls and larger villages too the existing ones and mca would be perfectly suited.
I'm not sure what is going wrong. I go to play the mudpack and it closed the launcher as if its going to open the game and then the launcher opens again and the game doesn't start. I know someone suggested allocating more memory, so I put it to 6 gb, and I am using the latest java, 1.6.0_65 with 64 bit. Someone please help!

So, I was getting a friend to go onto this modpack, and he's having the same problem exactly.
same 1.6 and all.
And we're trying to figure out how he updates it. we've re downloaded Java but nothing happened. So wondering what you think we should be doing

Sadly the Portal Gun doesn't exsist for MC 1.7.2 but I'm sure you would include that if you could. Could you add the Damage Indicator mod? I really like that mod more then this 'what am I looking at'. But great pack!

Well, WAILA tells you also the health of the mod, and it's enough for 98% of the people. If you want more than that, I'd recommend you to install it manually, sorry! [:
when i press play its verifying minecraft assetts and then closes down the launcher and opens it right after so the game dont really load at all. any way to fix this?
Java 7/8 & 64bit.
Go into Launcher Options, Java, and make sure you set at least 2 GB of RAM available. You might need to install Java 64 bit if the option for 2 GB is not there.
