Install Tekxit 2 (Official) 1.7.10

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekxit 2 (Official) 1.7.10) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekxit 2 (Official) 1.7.10 from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Hey Slayer, I keep getting kicked out of my server for "Stopped Server" and my server's console chrashed and went into server_stopped. Here is the crash log from the folder if it means anything: http://pastebin.com/r2FsVuaC P.s. I believe it has to do with chocolatecraft P.P.S Great Modpack!

Make a backup of the server and go into the original servers config folder then open forge.cfg in notepad, then set B:removeErroringEntities=false to true. If that doesnt work try changing B:removeErroringTileEntities=false to true and it should work. I might rebuild the modpack tonight... we will see..

Thank you so much! :) I just did the first thing you said and when I spawned I spawned in the nether because i was in a nether portal when the server stopped. Do you want me to change the value back to false or leave it?

I would like you to do a test and leave it on... tell me if anything odd or bad happens overtime.. :P I cant fix the issue because Chocolatin basically abandoned 1.7.10 and left it with a buggy "stable" and beta build.

Since it doesn't seem to be an issue with a tile entity no leave it disabled please, just let me know here if any other issues arise and if not the next update I release will have it auto enabled as a temporary fix. Thank you :)

The issue is coming (randomly) from the pig zombie (com.chocolate.chocolateQuest.entity.mob.EntityHumanPigZombie) I wish I knew what exactly is causing the conflict..

Ok. When I was playing the first time I was in the over world. I have been to the nether before but I died so I was at my house. I was going in the nether portal but as I was waiting to be brought to the nether I was kicked from the server and got the same error on my first post.

Your Welcome. One other thing I noticed I did was while I was in the nether portal waiting, I accidentally dropped one of my Tinkers' Construct tools out of the portal. I then picked up the tool, went back in, and crash.

Slayer the problem with the pig zombies might be due to nether ores and the fact that the will agro once you mine nether ores in the vicinity.

To your response, ASHJ, I do not believe nether ores is in this modpack unless you manually add it. I personally added lots of mods and even deleted two.

But this problem occurred before I added any mods. I only deleted one, the meteor mod (which has no impact on the nether) so I know this is not the cause.

If theres no grave popping down on the ground and you want to keep your stuff you can change the gamerule to keepinventory

You can try use the /ob_inventory command to recreate your inventory, but this may be server only.

First, off this is a great modpack and I haven't found any other like it. I have always liked having the magical and industrial mods put together because it makes the game that much more enjoyable as it gives a Science vs. Magic experience. I suggest adding the Nether Ores mod because the Nether is pretty useless right now except for harvesting energy from all the lava. Another fun mod to add would be the mutant creatures mod (if it's still up to date) because it would make the game a lot more challenging. But overall, this is a great modpack!!

Anyone else getting server crashes that lead back to chocolatequest 1.1d? crash report by server: http://pastebin.com/1PnrA8sA If I downgrade serverside to 1.0 of chocolatequest the crash is gone, but then everyone gets crashes with some bosses including the zombie mage boss.

Hello! When I downloaded this modpack, I started it up and everything was fine until i started a world. Few seconds after generating the world, an anti-virus warning popped up saying that there is a malicious URL (FYI I am using Avast) or something in the lines of that. Is this a fake warning or real? I had the same problem with Hexxit ONLY other modpacks are fine and there are no virus warnings, thanks for reading.

I also have Avast and I had the same warning pop up for me, just skip it and you should be fine. Anti virus software can be funny sometimes thinking something may be a threat when in is actually perfectly safe. Just make sure that you always read what you are allowing to download onto your computer.

Have a friend that works for a minecraft server hosting company. Told him about this pack and he offered to run a Tekxit 2 server hosted by his company for the community. I threw together a basic spawn area and i'm hoping to add a protect area mod/plugin soon that would allow people to protect what they build but for now if you feel like playing the ip is below. 167.114.1.219:25601

Oh! Thanks for the info, i'll have to look into it when I get the chance, I have just been using command blocks to protect spawn, so that would have been easier.

So why didn't you want to put in modular power suits? I understand they are overpowered but they are awesome to use! Their is no possible way you can put them into your modpack?

the staffs and wands don't work they require some type of cost that is not normally in hexxit please fix

Hello there, is there any way to install Shader with this mod ?, i tried different things on the web and cant manage to make it works. As well, do WorldEdit works on this mod? because i cant either make it run on my server.. Thank you very much for your support

I dont know about world edit but shaders work just fine, just get shadersmod for 1.7.10 and I use Chocapic13's shaders every day.

I cannot charge RE-Batteries. I try to put them in the top slot of a generator or a batbox but it simply won't let me. I've never used IC2 before so I could just be uneducated but this seems like a bug.

Just plop down a batbox charge pad for regular RE-Batteries and for the Advanced RE-Battery you need a CESU, MFE, or MFSU but not a BatBox.

Just download the hexxit, tekkit and vanilla sphax packs, and combine them into one zip (drag/drop files from two of them into the third one)

Hello, i was wondering why there is no Distribution Transport Pipe in that mod ?? Id like to split some items in 1/3 sending them to different place but i cant manage to find any pipe that could make that possible... Thanks for your aid. By the way, great mod you did there :)

While the point of the modpack is to combine Hexxit and Tekkit I had to cut some things out so theres not too many mods. If your trying to keep some pipes separate use (I think their called) pipe plugs.
