Install Tekkit Legends

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit Legends) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit Legends from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

When I try to download the server files, the .zip file is always corrupted. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

in my world when I try and find a place to make a house I keep getting chunks that wont load in at all and I either have to find a way around it or fly over it in creative mode and its getting really annoying is there any way to fix this?

Hey folks, I'd like to move over my world from tekkit classic to tekkit legends but it comes up with all sorts of errors when i do this with just a copy and paste. Is it possible to actually do this? i had though i could run the world in vanilla and then move it over to tekkit legends but then i'd loose most of the stuff i'd made in tekkit c lassic... any help would be much appreciated :)

i was wondering how to make iron pipes route items in the direction you need i know how to do this on tekkit classic but that seems not to work now please help

Is there any other wat powering a quarry apart from using either struling engines, redstone engines or combustion engines as there is no longer an energy link as there is in classic tekkit

Yes - there are many. However, you have to be a bit clever to make it all work. First off, Buildcraft in Tekkit Legends uses RF instead of MJ, so that will be your primary source of power. There is a way to use EU and convert it to RF using an Electrical engine from Forestry. Also, you can use Boilers into an Energy Bridge and convert to RF that way. My favorite way is to use either a Big Reactor or SolarFlux solar panels into a Big Battery or Engineer's Toolbox socket with Energy Storage Modules to store RF, then use Teleport Kinesis pipes to "transmit" power to the quarries.

IMO: Not necessary. Look at using Dark Matter/Red Matter tools. Very, very cool, but they more of a mid-game achievement.

Why can you not create the BUFFER from TubeStuff? There is no recipe for it, but you CAN create it in Tekkit/Tekkit-Lite.

Is anyone else having this issue? That there is no recipe for the TubeStuff Buffer, but it exists in NEI and you can get it in creative?

So, I've been playing Tekkit Legends for a few weeks here, and there are a couple of things I'd like to ask you all about. 1. Testalite badly needs an EMC value. You need a TON of it to make anything in modular powersuits, and the only way to get more is to mine it. It cannot be derived (such as by UU-Matter as was originally designed) and cannot be obtained by any other feasible way than hours of mining. 2. There are loads of items that have one or no use. Items such as Platinum (no uses), Zinc (2 uses), and apatite (3 uses) serve as little more than inventory cloggers. EMC values would at least elevate them to the status of gems, and provide much easier storage. 3. In the teaser is mentioned Space travel. There is no way to get so much as to orbit, and mods that would enable that (such as Galacticraft) are not in this modpack. 4. Probably most importantly, there are NO non-vanilla generated buildings. I would love more detailed villages or a few ruins here or there, or even the treasure hunters as mentioned again in the teaser. Am I just missing something here? What do you all think?

100% agree. PowerSuit has also a lot of items that can't be crafted. The mod realy need balance. Thermal Expansion mod would by nice too. And the rest mods that doesn't have EMC value NEED add EMC value :D But i like it.

it makes power with out anyting what makes power. when you but kinesis pipe on the RF consumer and connect it energy link, IC2 LV produser and mfsu and you get power

I can't seem to launch Tekkit Legends, when I press play it loads like normal, but then returns to the launcher. I know my graphics can't be the problem, and I think its because it's not compatible with Java 8, please make it so it is. Thanks.

After the modpack is installed, when i press play it shows "Installing Assets" then, at 0% loaded the launcher closes and then it cames back to launcher. The game actually won't start when i press play. What can i do? My friend is getting the same problem.
