Install Tekkit 2

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit 2) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit 2 from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Tekkit 2 updated to version 1.0.5

Things should stabilize now for a while, hopefully!

Changes:
• Updated Logistics Pipes to fix a critical bug. Also updated VoxelMapFixes for further improvements to prevent missing parts on the world map.
• Minor configuration changes - notably added Forge Multiblocks support for many decorative blocks and custom woods, and tweaked some EMC values for more consistency.

Multiplayer doesn't seem to be working. I hosted a private server from my PC, allocated substantial ram, checked inbound and outbound rules through the firewall. Even turned the firewall off completely. Uninstalled and reinstalled JRE. Checked all possible avenues. All i can figure is that this does not work publicly. Server functions for localhost and not public. Whitelisted for safety.

can you update being able to cut blocks into pannels to be able to hide cables like in the good old days

Like I mentioned, you can cut blocks into panels! Whether a specific cable supports being covered is another thing though, and depends on that cable's Forge Multiblock support.
