Tekkit 2 Version 1.2.3

created by xJon on Minecraft 1.12.2 using Technic Solder

Tekkit 2 updated to version 1.0.3

This small update changes EMC values to be more in line with Tekkit Classic, alongside other improvements.

Changes:
• A lot of EMC values were removed, some changed and some new ones were added. This change is in order to make the pack more in line with the original experience, which encourages more crafting & processing.
* Any player who does not want this change can easily reset the ProjectE config and reload the EMC values with a command without even restarting the game. Further suggestions about EMC values can be had over the issue tracker of the modpack.
• Updated 4 mods, including particularly useful updates to Logistics Pipes, and Binnie's Mods.
• Other minor configuration & script changes, notably changing Basalt generation.

Big thanks again to all of the awesome mod developers who helped this update. Enjoy! :)

Do you happen to have a list of the items EMC values were removed for?

Nah that EMC update isn't it. If we wanted it removed, we'd remove it.

If you want it added, you can add it :)

Im no fan that so many thing with EMC where removed. Especially for the logistic pipes. I use them very often and i dont see myself crafting it with each use. I use them too often and i need to many for it. And about the Project E EMC changes I'm 2 no fan, I can understand that the tools and armor have no emc but i dont get the think like the watches, amulets, bags, etc. I use many of those items in my machines, on pedestals and i dont have enough with a stack of pedestals for my overall need. So to craft them each time sounds like a hell to me... Sad to say i did undo this update.

As mentioned in the changelog, this change is true to the original Tekkit release, and encourages crafting. In any case as I mentioned you can undo the EMC changes without losing the other benefits of the update. If you need further help with this feel free to reach out over Discord or the issue tracker.

The compiler speed has been increased significantly, alongside bug fixes.

Just installed this update, which removed dozens of custom EMC values I had set. I also can't just easily reset the Project E config. Honestly kinda infuriating

Custom EMC values you set would get overridden in any modpack update regardless of the changes... If you want further assistance with this, feel free to head to the Discord or issue tracker.

Think adding some type of storage mod such as ME storage (not sure what its called but its in the other tekkit packs) would be a good idea thinking how much is still in the pack and some type of request pipe system would be amazing and a small update to the pack its self thinking how much is actually in the pack better storage would come in such handy and sure it would be loved by the players

You should explore the storage options available with Logistics Pipes :)
