modpack needs a direct link to download! fix it

I keep getting the error that says it can't connect to Steelseries Engine 3, even though they're both up to date, and the fact that they APEX M800 keyboard is actually working as it should. Only thing is that the Axe item configuration in the numberpad is reversed, but not really that big of a deal.The hunger bar on the keyboard is also constantly flashing when you start to lose drumsticks.
Other than that, it works like a charm. I disabled the chat function in the game so that the error message doesn't bombard me every 5 seconds.
It really needs an update, in my opinion. Not sure if it'll actually happen, though.

I also had this error, and it was solved by downloading JRE 8.

Is it possible to implement this in other modpack's?
Yes there is.... What you have to is: Search for "%appdata%" without the '"', by pressing windows key and R (if you are on windows). Then a folder will open and you then have to find ".technic" and go into it. You then have to find "modpacks" and go into that. Then "steelseries-gamesensetm" and then "Mods". In this folder you will find "gamesense-1.11" and "json-20140107" (this at the current time that i am writing this comment, it can be changed). You then copy the two files into another modpack. you do this by first finding the modpack (the one that you want Gamesense to work in) folder, then you find "mods" and paste the two files into there. I hope that helped you. (this might not work in a later version of GameSense, Forge or Minecraft)
I can't install the Mod at all >,< I follow the directions and i get the 404 error am I doing something wrong?
This is really awesome! Although somtimes I expeience the colors flashing on my devices, I guess it is because I have ColorShift enabled on pretty much everything, lol.
Also, try to use the seed GameSense when creating a world, it looks really nice!
I'm having the issue where sometimes the steelseries driver doesn't update the keyboard. Also why is #2 locked? (Using the apex)

the #2 is probably locked becouse you clicked in the special event "hungry and hungry level". If you dont want that special event look to the right and you should see it
Installed launcher, download and install mod, all in default directories. Select GameSense Mod, click play, goes to loading screen, then quits without error. Anyone else having this issue? W8.64
