This modpack has over 200 mods which have been designed to work in tandem with one another. The lore behind the server based off an overarching narrative known as the "Traveler's Atlas", where students of Atlas Academy full-dive into the VRCell in order to explore the New World.

Late into the dawn of the New Age, a portal was opened into a distinct, otherworldly realm of space age magic and futurism. This arc of the story is known as "World Boundary", and is where the 1.16.5 Modded Server takes place.

Within our vast universe, there exist two worlds; one that is known and tangible, and another that is elusive and mysterious. The former is the world we call home, known by the names "Earth" and "Milky Way". It is the world we are most familiar with, that we see, touch, and interact with every day. But the latter, the enigmatic VRCell, is an alternate reality that exists in parallel to our own, whose very essence has the power to impact our physical world in ways we cannot fathom.

Despite the notion that the VRCell is a mere figment of the imagination of some bored game developer, it is far from being transient. It is a realm of its own, a universe with its own set of rules and laws that dictate its ever-changing landscape. The whims and fancies of the VRCell are intrinsic to our world today, and it is for this reason that Atlas Academy was created.

Atlas Academy is a high school that trains the future defenders of humanity against the threats that lurk within the VRCell. The students who attend this institution are exceptional individuals, handpicked for their innate abilities and talents. By day, they attend regular classes, but by night, they venture into the VRCell using a device known as the Automation Device.

The Automation Device is a tool that resembles a dental chair with a helmet-like attachment. Though its appearance is unusual, it is a gateway between our world and the virtual, a tool that unlocks the doors to the VRCell's secrets. The Automation Device is exceedingly rare, existing only in limited numbers and in high-security laboratories.

Every student at Atlas Academy possesses an Automation Device, which they keep under lock and key in their dorm rooms. They are the chosen ones, the ones who have been deemed worthy of protecting humanity from the unpredictable whims of the VRCell.

The VRCell is a world in flux, always in a state of metamorphosis, shifting and changing without warning. What is true today may be a falsehood tomorrow. Every student who has been accepted into Atlas Academy knows this and has been classified according to their physiological and biological abilities. Aside from Aethers, whose classification is different, all other classifications are inherently magical, or more scientifically, imagic. They are a reflection of the VRCell across the physical forms of the students.

The world of the VRCell is one of wonder and magic, a realm of infinite possibilities, and the students of Atlas Academy are its guardians. They stand between the real world and the unknown, protecting humanity from the dangers that lurk in the shadows. Their mission is to safeguard the balance between the worlds, to ensure that the whims of the VRCell do not upset the order of the universe.
