lol my pc is to old to use mods

so im new and me and my friend were trying to do a roleplay on our own world and tried using custom npc 1.6.4 with this and all it says when we click play is one or more third party mods and closes Minecraft and im using the curseforge version since I don't know how to use the mod with technic mudpack so if anyone could help it would be appreciated
