=== LOCALIZED WEATHERS AND STORMFRONTS BY COROS ===
"Modpack policy: Now including Tropicraft, you can include any of my mods in your modpack,
I just ask that you link back to my http://coros.us/ website for my mods, or http://tropicraft.net/ for Tropicraft,
for wherever you display info about the mods in your mod pack."

=== IRONCHESTS AND COMPACTSOLARS BY CPW ===
"Modpackers: yes, I allow both this and compact solars into modpacks, and
being open source I really can't stop you. But I would appreciate a courtesy ping
saying that you're including me somewhere. Thanks!"

As a little credit, here is a link :P

You are welcome to include any of my mods in modpacks as long as you provide credit.
My name and a link to this page is fine."

=== DatPVFs mods ===
"I allow any modpacks to include my mods, as long as they credit me somehow"
Thank you bspkrs for updating the mods, you deserve credit, too!

=== CoFHCore and Thermal Expansion ===
"This is the Internet. Even if you don’t like us (we still like you, really) for some reason, we can’t
(and wouldn’t) stop you and maintain any semblance of a moral high ground, so have fun.
Permission granted. This was made to be played, after all.
A courtesy notification is definitely appreciated, as well as a link to the wiki.
As a consideration to the community, I would request that you make all possible efforts in order to comply
with the respective licenses and terms of all other mods in your pack."

=== NetherOres, PowerCrystalsCore, and MineFactory Reloaded ===
"Free for non-commercial use. You are free to include any of these mods in any modpacks or
server-specific packs without needing to ask permission
(but it'd be nice to hear if you do!), provided something either in the download
or on your site lists me as the creator. You are also free to produce Bukkit ports.
A link to this thread would be nice for any of the above, but that's all I ask.
You also have implied permission to build mods that depend on PowerCrystalsCore,
if you want some of the functionality in there."

=== WAILA ===
"Waila (and all my mods) is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. It has been for a while. This license means that you can do whatever you want with it (more or less). Also, FTB got a blanket license to include Waila and all my mods in their packs.
Stop asking me if you can include it, YES YOU CAN. That's what the permissive license is for.
Just do the usual link back to this thread or my blog and everything is cool."

Please do not contact me about mod pack permissions, if you can not meet the requirements

You cannot make any money off of the mod pack
Remove the mod from your pack if I specifically request it"

=== Computercraft ===
"I authorise and encourage people to create and distribute lua programs for ComputerCraft however they see fit
(try the forums at computercraft.info!). I also give permission for ComputerCraft to be included in any and
all mod packs, provided that the ComputerCraft files are included completely unmodified.
If you include ComputerCraft in a popular modpack, please consider donating to the development of the mod."

"A message to modpacks / Permissions
Yeah of course you have permission. Permissions are silly. Do what you like - however,
if you've got a HUGE mod pack, we'd really appreciate a heads-up first so we can keep an
eye on the servers."

=== Thaumcraft ===
(taken directly from the forum post)
"The code of “Thaumcraft for Minecraft” in source or binary form is the intellectual property of Azanor. See below for copyright, terms and conditions.

As a habit I ignore every PM in regards to mod-packs - both private and public. Everything you need to know about them is listed here.

You want Thaumcraft in your mod pack? All you need to meet are five simple conditions:
1. Your mod pack needs a link back to this forum post.
2. You cannot make any money off of the mod pack.
3. You cannot claim that you made any part of the mod, and you must give credit to the author of the mod (Azanor).
4. If I ever ask you to remove my mod from your pack, for whatever reason, you do so.
5. Handle any queries and bug reports internally first. This is one of the main reasons I had such a strict anti-modpack policy for such a long time - people using modpacks would come here posting errors that have nothing to do with my mod or that have been fixed ages ago, but still occurs in the modpack because it is using an older version.

If these five conditions are met, then you have my permission to use it in a mod pack"

=== Applied Energistics ===

"I am hereby granting everyone and anyone revocable permission to include Dimensional Doors
in any mod pack, whether public or private. As long as you don't claim that it's your work or try to sell it,
then you have permission."

=== Buildcraft ===

"As of November 1st, 2011, the answer is YES. But that comes with constraints and restrictions.
BuildCraft is released through an Open-Source license, the Minecraft Mod Public License. It does
allow redistribution of the mod in its various forms (sources, binaries) in certain cases.
Make sure that you do understand the license before distributing a mod including BuildCraft!
The main restriction is that sources must be accessible. If you are only redistributing the
unmodified binaries, or class files, adding a link to http://www.mod-buildcraft.com is enough –
sources can be retrieved from there. Otherwise, make sure that you clearly understand the
implications, and asks questions in the forum if needed."

Also be sure to link people back to this thread so they know where the original mod is. Also,
do not change any files packaged in with this mod because none of these files are malicious, and
I plan to keep it that way."

=== Custom Branding ===
"You are free to use and distribute any of the mods listed on this page in your mod pack or server pack under the condition that I am credited on the packs credit list and there is a link back to this forum topic. If you would like to use the source code for these mods in your own mods you are permitted to do so on the condition that I am given credit in the credits section of your mod and mod page along with a link back to my profile and this mod page. This mod may not be distributed behind an adfly link or similar service and may not be re uploaded as a single mod. If you are uncertain about what this section means you may pm me for clarification."

=== Project:Red ===
"As it states in the RPSL, you may use PR in any mod pack, as long as it follows the conditions outlined.
Do NOT PM me about mod packs, i will ignore them. Those are the rules, follow them.
READ the license before even considering including this.

There are ONLY 2 circumstances from which PR may be downloaded.
1) legal mod pack.
2) original links from official website."

=== MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod ===
"I've had so many personal messages sent to me asking for modpack permission and I thought its time to settle this and create a section in my forum post with the rules.

If you want to release your modpack (with this mod included) to the public, you must:
1. Link back to this forum post.
2. Not make money off it without permission.

If you are creating a private modpack, you do not need permission. As long as mod pack download link
is not available to the public. If it is, it falls under the rules above."
