MonkeyCraft3 is a collection of mods used on my personal server. The major mods affecting gameplay included are Tinkers Construct, Thermal Expansion, Thaumcraft, ComputerCraft, Grimoire of Gaia, Tough as Nails, Pam's Harvestcraft, Forestry, Minecolonies, and Minecraft Comes Alive. This pack should provide an interesting world to explore, a greater challenge than Vanilla, a large variety of aesthetic blocks/objects, and should cater equally to players that enjoy technology and magic. Hopefully this pack achieves all of this while keeping play balanced and not forcing anything onto the player that breaks the immersion.

For the client, 4-6GB of RAM allocated is recommended due to spikes in memory usage caused by the worldgen mods, though usage typically hovers between 2-3GB when not exploring new areas.

For a dedicated server, at least 4GB of RAM allocated and 2 cores are required.

There should be no duplicate ores between mods, so no dealing with 9 types of copper junking up your inventory!forgot to disable additional tin and copper in forestry in latest version, will fix next update

Added ores have had their spawn rates lowered significantly from their defaults, preventing players from being able to zoom to end-game equipment.

I tweak this modpack frequently, so if you're using it and I break your world, I apologize, but it's all in the name of improvement.

*remove Advanced Skin Customization if using as dedicated server. Will cause crash.

Build an awesome forge with Tinker's Construct - further augmented with the Metallurgy, Construct's Armory, and Tinker's Compendium mods

Generate power in complicated ways with Thermal Expansion

Cave generation is vastly improved by Yung's Better Caves.

The Nether is no longer boring! Thanks to BetterNether, NetherEx, Biomes O' Plenty, and Basic Nether Ores, the Nether is now interesting and useful. Pigmen vision has been altered to be a little weaker than the Basic Nether Ores default, so you won't enrage everything in a mile radius accidentally hitting a coal block
