Install Mining in Mass

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Mining in Mass) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Mining in Mass from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Your pack is broken, all standard minecraft tools (eg wooden, iron, diamond etc) cannot be used for mining/digging, only for combat. Please fix, as this is basically unplayable since you need these basic tools from the start to make everything else. Cheers.

This is a part of the Tinkers' Construct mod, you're supposed to start with flint tools and build up from there. The vanilla tools are only supposed to be used for crafting purposes, use the Tinkers' Construct tools for mining.

Vanilla tools don't work, and aren't supposed to, you need to use flint tools from Tinkers' Construct to get better ones.

um. cant use a wooden pick axe so i cant actually do things. Assistance please

You're not supposed to be able to use Vanilla tools. Use Tinkers' Construct tools to progress.

Hi. Your ModPack is awesome, thanks for the nostalgia :) But I think there is a mistake with the generation of ores because I can not find any Certus Quartz Ore :( And from some version you can't use Querry from Buildcraft with arbitrary power anymore, only the BuildCraft one power works, which is bad.

Quartz ore problem is fixed, that was a typo on my part xD. The Buildcraft compatibility issue is out of my hands, however, as the mod itself has no API or compatibility for use of other power. I have looked into adding converter mods, however none are either up to date or supporting MJ, so sorry, can't fix that issue until an actual programmer gets involved :(
