Install MajiTex

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (MajiTex) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select MajiTex from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

MajiTex BETA 0.9.5 will be removing Guns'N'Stuff and adding Chisel and ExtraUtilities. To boot, I will be seeking to make the game less punishing and more challenging - this means a whole lot of tweaks to mobs. I'm also looking for a way to disable skeletons' spawning on gravestones.

If you updated between 07:10 and 08:00 MST on Sunday, 5/17/2015, I do apologize - I hadn't quite gotten the modpack uploaded. I was ahead of myself. You'll have to re-install the modpack. Use the "Modpack Options" link in the upper right of the launcher; there will be a button in the lower right corner of that dialog.

On Stability: First off, see the "HELP" tab - RAM settings are important, especially if you have 8GB or less to play with. Secondly, yes I know the game crashes in Creative mode a lot. I do know of this, and am examining logs. v0.9.3 will include some config fixes as I get to them. :)

Alright, sometime in the near-ish future (since 0.9.1 is proving quite stable so far), I will add Floating Ruins and Treecapitator to the mix. Turns out I forgot both of them (and that will be version 0.9.2).

Latest Update

MajiTex 1.1 is currently being developed! Many changes to configs (mainly ore generation to eliminate some redundant/duplicate ores... tweaks to come), Roguelike and Chocolate added.
