am i doing something wrong? it gets to launching mods phase 1 then crashes, i am giving the launhcer 6 gigs of ram and idk why its not working.

me and my fiance have been looking for a mod pack and this one has all he mods and all mine, just from watching the mods load.
Is there a server IP for this? Because what you're doing here is starting to resemble a lot of what I've been looking for in a modded server.

I've tried to make my own modpack in the past but have given up for the most part. Thus I have been searching for one like the one I tried to create... And here it is! I haven't even finished going through all the mod tabs in creative and I already love it! Thank you so much for a great modpack!!

-secret handshake- Then you know the struggle, bruh. You have my respect. We're just daycare teachers ensuring orderly chaos in the modlist; we don't own the material nor do we have any say in things. I'm actually dealing with a multimod issue pileup in the server state of this modset at the moment--turns out it's a Java issue. Java did a thing and some Forge / mods aren't working correctly now. Again. Like the Java 8 release all over again. Can't do a damn thing other than damage control and tell the Youtuber waiting on me that the pack in server form is less than 100%...burns me up. Your commentary is appreciated! Really, let me know what you think of the modpack experience as you play. I'd value the perspective!
dunno if its something you personally want but I love hardcore darkness, it was used wonderfully in lay of the land, darkness levels changing made me feel like I actually shouldn't go out at night.

Doh! I had it as a .rar file rather than a .zip :) It downloads successfully now.
Note, that this is a stable dev version. I'm in the middle of crunching out the full release within the next week, in time for someone's Youtube channel. There is a big server state issue with the current build at the moment that I'm troubleshooting; it showed no sign of being in the singleplayer state during my hard testing so you should be fine starting up a world. Likely, the fix will require removing or back-updating a mod. Though it's out of my hands really, if at all possible, I'll try to avoid having to remove the mods people actually like... (I had to cut Animals Plus in favor of the three other mods it was breaking.) Let me know if you do come across anything that isn't working right! :D

Apologies. The Official Server has been discontinued. It will be reactivated when there's enough interest. I'm glad you like the pack!! Stay tuned for a large update. :D

I think there is no server right now, but we (unitedworldminers.com) would host a server if there is enough demand :) Just let us know.
Oh, it existed alright. Deactivated at the moment until enough people want to play on it. Stay tuned for a huge secret update! :D

Hello Flatron. I've actually been working with another Minecraft hosting company for a few years now. McDust Hosting. The CEO offered me a watered down web hosting package for the modpack files. Honestly I think it's too much for the three small zipped files we'll ever have. (1.7.10, 1.8 or 1.9, as soon as the mods update. We're pretty close to 1.8 compatibility, if only Carpenter's Blocks would hand their project off to somebody willing.) If you can make me an offer I can't refuse, I wouldn't mind listing your site as the recommended host. :) If pricing's competitive as well I'll shift the Official Server to you guys, when the pack gets enough interest to reestablish it. Right now, I'm about to roll out a massive surprise update in time for the holiday gaming rush... I'm expecting my Dropbox to fail me any day now. haha
Current modpack status: Hold on... Waiting for a confirmation email. Modpack file is repaired, new filehost is almost ready. We're going with Mega.nz but suggestions are welcome.
Apparently the pack Description isn't fully showing up. I have all the mods listed. Will have to get the pack re-enabled for it to.
P.S. The pack runs on Forge 1.7.10 version 10.13.3.1408. Google the Forge page for 1.7.10 and click the Show All Downloads button. Download the installer, and use Google if you've never installed Forge before. It's super easy! Don't forget to run Forged Minecraft to the main "Minecraft" screen once before you add in any mods.

Dropbox sent me an email about too much traffic... I... Holy gawd. This is happening.
To answer your questions, yes this is being worked on, and we've hit a wall. I've formatted the pack file the way the current Youtube videos tell you to, but when run off Technic it shows vanilla. Halp? In the meantime, if you know how to use mods and config files on your client, you can grab them from your .technic and throw them in your .minecraft folder, your clientside. The downloaded pack works, Technic is just having a hiccup reading the files. Config and Mods is all you need.
Also we need a free service to host the pack on, since there's so much interest now. Suggestions? Questions? Discuss the pack? Want to get the pack from me directly while we correct the download issues? Contact me on Skype via "ChristinaGiammarco" I have the modpack icon.
I don't bite. lol We have a crew chat (majority is text chat on Skype, don't worry) and an official server up. Mature behaving players please? We'd love to hear new perspectives on the pack. :) It's very stable but we're calling it beta on account of important content additions in the future. Infernal Mobs is subject to change if we find something better. This is an example of where the initial testers can help us shape the pack into something wonderful. We'd love to have you.

Hello! Thank you for understanding. I appreciate it. While I'm getting this sorted, there's a workaround posted in the Discussion page. Also by any chance do you know a good free alternative to Dropbox? They disabled my public links from the crazy traffic.
It's coming from a dropbox account. Those are very limited on how many downloads per hour. If you don't get it the first time keep trying throughout the day.
I recommend adding the better foliage mod, I believe it an be disabled with F8 if individual people don't want it.
Also, you should probably take the main picture on the pack page with fancy graphics and smooth lighting :)

I would have! If my crappy laptop could handle it. It's from one of my early test saves. :) Funny story, my old tower's motherboard finally blew when I tried Shaders where Shaders did not belong... To be fair, it was faulty by the manufacturer. And I did a stupid. That was so long ago. lol Anyway, yes, Better foliage is in there! It was a late edition since it just updated. :) There are technical difficulties with the download right now, I've posted a workaround in the Discussion page.
Everyone can't download it because so many people are trying to download it. The server that is used for downloading the stuff is shut off because it's probably a free account, and too many downloads means they stop allowing downloads. It's because of the spike in popularity. So, wait for the modpack creator to either find a new host for downloads, or pay to get better downloads and stuff. Patience is a virtue.
It's refreshing to see someone calmly explain for others. haha It's appreciated. There's a notice in the pack description about the matter. It's being worked on. Another hiccup...is the spike of popularity. I've been using Dropbox, and they just sent me an email about disabling my public links due to the heavy traffic. I need to find a free alternative to Dropbox. Have any? :) Also, check the modpack's Discussion thread, where you've posted. I've posted a way to get the pack, while this is cleared up.
