Install Lay of the Land

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Lay of the Land) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Lay of the Land from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Hey, I might be doing something wrong, but I tried to get the server download, and ran it... all I got was this... im sorry, i know people are saying what the server IP is.. but i cant connect to it.. at ALL... any idea whats wrong?? it just Says Cant Resolve Hostname.. and im using the tjs.mcph.co ip.. i also tried lotl.vcpvp.net but that dosnt work either...

BTW whats the mod that adds mines that are close to villages and whats the mod that adds more dynamic rivers. I feel like it the rogue like mod but im not sure.

Unfortunately due to the lack of traffic on the server and with no support we will be forced to close the public server. If we can possibly get listed as the official server or get some more players/ donators I can will keep the server up. I am sorry but there is not much I can do. Everytime I start it, I move a little bit and then it says minecraft is running out of memory or whatever. Help please :(

Make sure you are using a 64bit Windows. Download the 64bit version of Java. When you have installed 64bit Java, go into the technic launcher, top right corner, Launcher Settings -> Java Settings and set at least 2 GB Ram there. The more the better but AT LEAST 2 GB Ram.

What is your key binded for this? The default key is "R" to access the duel wielding interface.

Lay of the Land on TJS is now online and better than ever! Due to the shut down of the official Lay of the Land server, I and some of the veteran members of the old official server have created a new public server for all to enjoy. The server was moved to a new host to increase the connection and overall strength of the server and is now re-open to the public. If you wish to have the amazing experience that many others have had join us at tjs.mcph.co! -Zboy
