Install Lay of the Land

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Lay of the Land) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Lay of the Land from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Lay of the Land updated to version 1.1

PSA: HUGE UPDATE TO THE PACK! PLEASE RESTART YOUR WORLDS, VERY SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT HAD TO BE DONE.

My initial idea of this pack was to create a vanilla experience while adding mods which I believed could be added to the game. After a few days of gameplay and feedback I decided to remove/add a couple mods to balance gameplay. There has been quite a few changes to balance. I also want to make sure mod developers in this pack are updating so it can eventually be updated to 1.8+ without having to restart the world. A detailed list can be found below. Please update your server as well!

Forge - Updated to latest version
Added Hopper Ducts mod - Move/sort items upward much easier!

Hardcore Darkness - You are now able to see easier at night based on the moon phase!

Seasons - Currently waiting on mod developer to update. On beta VIP list, shouldn't be much longer. Will address bugs and snow falling onto grass/plants.

Gravestone mod has been replaced with Lootable Bodies - Causing a bit of problems with terrain gen; causing more problems that intended.

All mods have been updated to their latest versions.

I don't get this Mod pack that much, is for Singleplayer or Multiplayer? I'm not sure, it's not for singleplayer I'm pretty sure but I should be, that would be pretty cool. Anyway, write back I'm confused about your Mod pack and I need some help. I installed it but I have no idea on how it works.
