It has been a long, long time since the days of the mighty technological giants who gave our world both promise...and decay. Rolling plains became landfills, mountains were excavated, and grand cities were once built on the backs of those who would not seize power for themselves.
It has been a long, long time. The cities have crumbled to dust, and in their wake, strange monsters roam the land. The technology of the old world is gone; now only the grinding of gears can be heard. Psychic powers and clashing blades have replaced the firearms and mighty rockets of eons past. Roving bands of zombies, skeletons, and who-knows-what-else have taken to storming our castles, breaking down our walls and tearing us apart in the night.
Despite this, we are still building. What will you build, young adventurer?
Dig.
Gather resources, by hand with Tinker's Construct tools or automatically with Factory0 Resources drills. Explore twisting tunnels with Worley's Caves, and when you hit bedrock, use the Ember Bore to begin reconstructing the way of the factory.
Process.
Use the Melter and Stamper to mass-produce your ingots, or use a Tinker's Smeltery to alloy them. As you learn more of the old world's tricks, use the power of Rockhounding Chemistry to turn strange and mysterious minerals into the resources you require.
Build.
Using the power of Effortless Building, you can construct walls, floors, and stairs with ease. Make your castles, and build them well--you'll need every advantage you can get.
Fight.
Every seven days, the endless hordes gather. Beat them back with blade and bow. There is no place you can go where they won't find you...
