Hunters of Sin Version Alpha 1.1.1

created by MythIncarnate on Minecraft 1.7.10 using Technic Solder

What is this?

This is a magical compendium-style modpack aiming for a high degree of dis-integration (i.e. each mod should, for the most part, do it's own thing) to allow a competitive "schools of magic" structure to exist. Additionally, the selection of mods outside of the core magic mods is to provide an alternative option: Acting as the agency who polices the various schools without dedicating themselves to the study. Lastly, as there is little point in magical conquest without it, several additional dimensions are available to the aspiring mage or mage-hunter.

Wait, no Thaumcraft?

Given the aformentioned focus on dis-integration, Thaumcraft and it's various bridges and interactions with other mods (both magic and mundane), it was decided right at the beginning that it wouldn't fit. This also extends to the various "Equivalent Exchange" clones out there and a few others. That said, the pack is open to suggestions for additional mods, provided that they don't add heavy worldgen and don't hook into the mods that already exist (except Baubles, because Baubles is cool).
