it wasnt updated like 5 to 6 months
We tend to stay behind by about 4 months on the version of that mod. The devs aren't exactly a fan of us, so we did that to kind of keep them off our backs. Also modified the mod to only work properly with our server.

Lower lag? The only lag we're concerned about at the moment is TPS lag. We have a resource pack already with many different intensity options ranging from 16x, all the way up to 512x.
Also there's a mod called Bibliocraft, maybe you can look at that, you don't need to these are just suggestions.
This mod has electricity, we can't use it.

One other question, Is there going to be more traders at spawn because I see that there's other stalls, maybe trades like the dragon sticks/treat/orbs/etc. (Its hard to get meat bc the animals despawn) And I have a recommendation that might make the server a but easier for trades, there's a mod with vending blocks and we could make our own trading area for others to use so you/others won't have to make lot of traders. Take your time though, I like having baby dragons.
The reasons for the mob spawning being so low, is mainly just trying to save server performance, keeping the TPS up etc. Also we don't want people to level up their dragons too quickly, then there's no grind, no real end game to work towards since you'd get there in just a few hours.. That is if we kept our spawn rates up where they were. Thank you for the suggestions.
To comment on traders however. We like to stick with custom NPCs. Anything that looks like it could be from modern times are pretty much pushed away. Our theme here is basically Viking Times, or just after. no electricity.
Yeah, I've already got many high level dragons and now that I know we can spam-fish its a ton easier.
Besides that your doing a really great job on this so thank you for helping make such an awesome modpack/server, please don't rush and take your time to continue making it better.
We try our best. ^_^' our main issue is dealing with TPS lag. Not fun. :(
I have the same problem here, I can't join the server until I'm white-listed or allowed to join, and no-one is online again, but I saw you said it should be back up? No-rush!!!! I just wanted to know when you think it should be working?
We're trying to re-open it today, but we're running into a lot of errors at the moment with some of the new plugins we've implemented. Such as excessive disc usage, (coming from one of our new backup plugins.). Until we get that sorted out, the server will remain under maintenance.
Is the server down? I've been playing on it for a few days, but now it says I'm not whitelisted and no-ones online.

It was most likely down due to us trying to update it a couple days back. It's open now, and free to join. :)

Is the owner of DragonFire mod aware of this modpack? I don't think you are able to let other people download this mod without paying on the patreon.

even if there paying on the patreon it clearly says there not to distribute the mod: "(please note that by supporting us at this rank you will be entering into an agreement with us to not distribute the mod to anyone else.)" so im hoping that they know & allowed the mod to be distributed
We are protected under Mojangs TOS, and under Dreamworks, since TT did not get their permission to make money off of such a mod. It's completely legal.
To put the icing on the cake here:
The Alpha rank, is the only rank that states that we cannot distribute the mod. Our account that we use (my account) is under the "Adult" rank. That rank doesn't state anywhere that we cannot do this. Please take all of this into consideration. We're well within the right to do this.

That's hard to figure out in a comment section for our modpack. I'd join our discord server for support like that.

That'd be a death sentence for us if we tried to at this time. We wait at least 2 weeks after every update so we're not dealing with tons of bugs when we try to update to the latest stuff.
This is caused by Tiny Turtles carelessness about how him and his team are developing the mod. Trying to pump out too much content every single month. No server can opparate properly like that.
I think the dragon fire mod is messing it up its not loding

Be sure you've allocated at least 5 GB of RAM to your launcher.
it says there is a problem with one of the mods and i cant get a world and im sad do you know how to solve this? or is it just my laptop

We've been having a lot of issues with it. Today however the server is performing a lot better. :)
i cant download it it says the dropbox file is messed up or somthing
