Hixamo Version beta-0.45

Hi, and welcome to the page for Hixamo!

Hixamo is a modpack that was originally based off of Hexxit, with a few tweaks. The most major of these tweaks is that I used the CubicChunks mods to remove the height limit, allowing you to build as high as your heart desires.

With Hixamo, you can explore a plethora of new biomes, travel to many new dimensions, and discover a bountiful amount of new items and blocks to build with. Hixamo incorporates many of the mods used in Hexxit (allowing you to do all sorts of cool things with magic), but it includes a few major additions including GalacticCraft (Which lets you travel to space), and as previously stated, CubicChunks (which removes the limit on how high you can build and how deep you can mine.)

This is a bit technical, but Hixamo's best feature is it's inherent compatibility with the Mohist. Mohist is a piece of server software that allows the operator of a server to run mods (such as Chisel) and plugins (such as Movecraft and Essentials) at the same time. A lack of many modpack's compatibility with Mohist is the reason I created this modpack, as the mod alternatives to plugins are lacking in many core features and functionality. I personally use the modpack with Mohist Build #619, and it works ok.
