Me and some friends want to host a server on this mod pack, is there any good server hosting that you would recommend, also what plugins could we install?

Hey, where do I send a crash report?
if you don't know how to work a vanilla minecraft server look it up. use the 6g ram to start up forge you need to port forward to successfully have people join over the internet. this part of the tutorial is also part of setting up a vanilla server. you need to run cmd window open then type ipconfig no spaces look for your ipv4 copy it and paste it. now then whatever port you set up to port forward type your ipconfig ipv4 with a colon then the port so if 1.5.9.8.2 then 1.5.9.8.2:25565 (the default minecraft recommended port is 25565)

Every time i click on the download server button it opens a new tab and doesnt download it

the server you have to click on download lol. you download it through your browser.
were do you find the download button for it

i remember when this modpack was BEAST, don't get me wrong it still is, but what happened to modpacks like this?
people stopped making awsome modpacks. I am the only one left making good modpacks Michael simply asked me to make a light version of the ultimaterpg I was working on so people on a 3-4ram computer+ can play. The download will now be on dropbox but, I will reset it between 2 dropbox's so my account doesn't get banned again.

Could someone help me, i tried making a server, i followed a tutorial on youtube, but it didn't work, kept saying refused to connect. Please help me, id like to play with a friend and this doesn't work.

you have to port forward for people to join. the official server has been down due to no donations. 100 dollars would pay for the server for 6 months.
the way you install it is if you have widows download the windows one then you have to get a java update the double click it and do what it says if it says to download file just click install

try it the link resets once a day at 4pm so you can download it throughout the entire day except around 4pm
This modpack work ! If you have a problem is not the fault of the lancher... Its your fault. Stop to say : "Modpack need uptade,His modpack dont work" and other.... Thanks !

this is a technic launcher error the servers have been down for a week at least so it errored trying to replace/delete the lib folder which I had already created for minecraft forge 1.7.10 1588

The heck are you asking about. there are no rpg mods past 1.8 there are no good rpg mods past 1.7.10 . play 1.7.10 its the most stable version since 1.5.2 of minecraft play it and have fun.
how do i download any mod whatever it is?
