Guys the gamerule KeepInventory True doesn't work, when u die it gives u the gravestone but u lose the levels and the items that will be in the grave.
In this case, you may want to remove the TombManyGraves mod and its dependents from your server or client.

hi again, which files are the modified loot tables for battletowers and roguelike dungeons? i've tried looking in configs but i don't think it lead to anything, unless i'm missing something? thanks again

Hey guys, after years of not playing minecraft I just took a look at the Technic-Launcher and saw that there is a Hexxit 2. I was totally surprised and remembered that I loved to play Hexxit (1). So I started a new world and after a while I wanted to craft a backpack.
Then I noticed, that I don't even have the crafting recipes for backpacks that I used to know from Hexxit (I). I just have the option to craft one particular set of backpacks which need a ton of materials (strings and stuff). Out of frustration I recently stopped playing because of that. Any Ideas how to fix it? I tried different versions and exchanged the particular mod with no result.
The guy who made the Backpacks certainly thought, that the old version was too unbalanced. He remade them in a way that must look quite nice when looking at the code, but unplayable looking at the ingame. I already ranted on the forums for it.
If you want you can suggest to make the Backpacks' recipes easier.
Will Railcraft and/or Buildcraft be implemented in the future?
Unlikely for RC, impossible for BC. Both are rather "technical" and don't really fit into hexxit therefore.

I've downloaded the modpack, but when I hit play it just runs a couple download lines, blinks off and on, then nothing happens. Any idea why?
Try to activate the log-windows in the general settings (there are two cogwheels, the one needed is directly below the close-button). Then In that window the error message will be shown.
Also check how much memory is assigned. Depending on the RAM you have, you'll want to assign 4-12 GB to Java.
If that doesn't work, go to the technic's discord server, there's the channel "tech-help". They'll get it running for you.
What version of minecraft to play?
Am I being stupid or is Enchanting Plus not working properly? I'm getting the vanilla features only, yet people in the comments seem to be able to Enchanting Plus just fine. I checked the config files and found nothing wrong with them, and I can't see anything in the options that might help.
Are you sure you're using the Enhanced enchantment table and not the standard one?
Oooh, so that IS what I've been doing wrong. The old version of the mod used the regular table and I didn't realize they made some changes. Thanks for the tip!
this mod pack is so good all it needs is a better storage mod like me system. would make this mod perfect in my opinion.
true. For me, a simple sorting mod of some kind (e.g. Buildcraft-pipes with a mod-sorting pipe or extra-utilities with giant ) would already be enough.
Alternatively i'd go fo a combination of Colossal Chests and Extra-Utilities :)
Hey, why is Hexxit 2 using Minecraft Version 1.12.2. Isn't it outdated?
It is the latest version of Minecraft with the compatible necessary mods, which are still in development. Thankfully, we have multiple mods which bring back features from future versions of Minecraft :)
The thing is, that 1.12.2 is the latest MC version with a hella lot of mods. The last version with that many mods was 1.7.10 (which is why there are so many MPs on that version). the one before that was 1.2.5. The next one may turn out to be 1.16.5 but that is complete speculation.

Hey how do you enable the Thermal foundation items? I added Thaumcraft 6 to my game and I can't progress because both the iron plate from Thermal foundation and in result Thaumcraft are disabled.
in the config folder, there's the subfolder "cofh". In you should find the stuff about enabling/disabling things. Have a look at cofh\thermalfoundation\common.cfg, line 451
Sphax patch resourcespack for Hexxit2 can't work with the latest version, said crashing because of the Voxelmap mod. Can you fix it?
You need to make sure you are allocating enough RAM if you want to use a resource pack :)
Is it possible for me to add the Aether mod in or would it clash with stuff? And also i wanted to say as a side note the battle towers suck for some reason? Every single one ive gone into has been coal, string, seeds, and other various useless garbage.

We are playing on a local lan and the client machine always loses waypoints. Is there a way to fix this?
Waypoints are saved based on world name or server IP, so you need to make sure they don't change :)

So, I've been having an issue where Tomb Many Graves overwrites the keepInventory gamerule. Been super annoying so far. I can't seem to disable the graves in the mod config because, when looking through the mod list in-game, it doesn't let me config Tomb Many Graves. Is there some other way to make keepInventory take priority or disable the graves? If not, why is the ability to configure the mod disabled? Am I doing something wrong?
This is an issue with the mod, and in this case it is recommended to uninstall it and its addons.
And, to do that, I just go into the install folder, then the mods folder, and remove all the Tomb Many Graves stuff from the mods folder?
I downloaded the recommended version of Hexxit II yesterday, but the game refuses to launch due to issues related to the Chocolate Quest Repoured mod. Not sure how or if I can do anything to fix it on my end. I tried to create an error report file to send, but the error screen is bugged out and won't give me the .txt file. Would appreciate any advice!
