I apologize for not responding. I had wanted to for some time now, but i haven't gotten the opportunity. I am happy to know that my modpack has gained a fan.

a minimap mod would be helpful, allthough if you dont want to add one, to anyone playing the modpack the waypoint compasses work just as well, you just need to shift leftclick and then youve got a compass pointing to where you set your waypoint :D

I understand your request and i may plan to add a minimap mod, however it may not fit this modpack considering that is was meant to be realistic and difficult. Maybe if the map was not too obstructive or "overpowered" I am tied between Voxelmap and Xaero's Minimap, however i think i may go with Voxelmap as you cannot teleport to waypoints. I will test it out. Thank you for the suggestion.

i figured out how to disable it :D, in the mod settings you must go to enviromine. profile settings, and then general, and then all you need to do is disable physics, also this can be found by pressing config on the mods button on the main screen

your welcome people who like this pack, your welcome :D

Thank you for finding that solution. I apologize as i now realize that i could have spent more time looking for the solution. I assumed that all of the settings were in the config, and i did not think to check the profile settings. Thank you for this solution, and i will actually put that in the help section. Thank you!

that mod that allows blocks like dirt and stone to not float in the air, couldnt find the name. can you fix it so it only affects wood? or tell me where i can do that if i missed it in the settings menu? other then this the modpack looks absolutly amazing! love it!

The mod in question is called EnviroMine. It is the same mod that gives you the small tempurature and dehydration bars on your GUI. The mod was added to add some realistic functions to the game. I have checked the mod's config file, however there was no setting to change what blocks are affected by gravity. You could remove the mod, however this may not be a great idea, as many features would be removed. If i may make a suggestion, if you are trying to build a structure, you could make stone or brick supports to hold up the structure. Endstone does not abide by the laws of gravity, and any block that is directly touching glowstone will also not be affected by gravity. More information of the game's physics can be found here: (https://github.com/Funwayguy/EnviroMine/wiki/Physics) I apologize for not being able to help more.

It's fun to see other modpacks using the hardcore darkness and dynamic lights combo.

I now see my mistake, the two mods together don't work well together. The modpack is currently in Beta though, and i may add new mods and remove others. I am currently looking at adding the lantern mod. I am very happy to see that you have taken an interest towards my modpack. Thank you.

which mod gives better villages?
dwman2014 8 years ago
I believe that it is the MCA mod, or Minecraft Comes Alive. Here is the link to the mod's thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1280154-minecraft-comes-alive-v5-0-7-1-mc-1-8-1-7-10-loved

Modpack updated to Beta 0.4.1; You can now find many different kinds of dogs in the world, and tame them like you can with wolves. You can also breed all domesticated animals to create better breeds that provide you with more resources.
