Install FactoriesO'Plenty

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (FactoriesO'Plenty) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select FactoriesO'Plenty from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Will it run on my Computer?

The system requirements for this modpack are listed as follows:

Java 8 64-Bit must be used. Otherwise allocating more than 1GB of memory is impossible.

Minimum:

  • Java 8 64-Bit, preferably latest release
  • RAM: 6GB (allocate a minimum of 3GB to the launcher, otherwise modpack will crash on launch)
  • VIDEO: GTX 750Ti 2GB or HD 7770 2GB
  • HDD/SSD: 1GB of available disk space
  • CPU: AMD FX 4300 or Intel Core i3 2120

Recommended:

  • RAM: 8GB or better
  • VIDEO: Nvidia GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB or better
  • HDD/SSD: 1GB of available disk space
  • CPU: AMD FX 8350 or Intel Core i5 3570 or better

Can I enjoy FactoriesO'Plenty with friends?

Since this modpack contains a server, yes, you can set up a server. Whether you play with friends or not is up to you. That is, if you have any friends... >:)

I have an issue... What do I do?

Currently, there are a few known bugs/issues:

  • Severe lag on AMD Radeon video cards - Fix: in settings, go to video settings > animation settings and turn off "terrain animated" and "textures animated"
  • Severe lag when running server - No known fix, likely caused by MrTJPCore mod rendering massive terrain structures
  • Modpack crashes when shaders are enabled - No known cause or fix yet
  • Many recipes will craft there default item type rather than intended recipe - No known cause or fix yet
  • Quickstack button and next recipe button overlap - No fix yet

If there are any new bugs that aren't listed above, please post them on the discussions page so they can hopefully be rectified.
