Install DivineJourney

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (DivineJourney) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select DivineJourney from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Is there any way you can make a non-expert version, all expert versions do is forced you to spend hours grinding, a normal version that I won't have to sink a hundred hours into would be really nice

DAngit, I know I'm at the bare minimum 5 months late for anyone to still play this pack (pr maybe I'm wrong and other people still play it besides me), but I can't get the Magical Crops to work with Agricraft. I've tried, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to mutate any AgriCraft seeds to make my life easier. Maybe I'm missing something that should be pointed out on the FTB Wiki for people who are new to these mods, but I can't get it to work, so if anybody knows what to do, I'd like to get some help with it.

i really like this mod pack but i am still very much a noob, would it be possible to change the crafting back to vanilla crafting, instead of all the changes to make it much more difficult?

I was going thru the configs, and saw "iChunUtil.cfg", "iChunUtil_KeyBinds.cfg", and "iChunUtil_Stats.cfg" but the pack doesn't have iChunUtil mod. Can you tell me which mod uses these configs?

First, I learned that you need a block of smeltery glass, a drain, and a channel to insert lava and water. Second, powered spawners are repeatedly mentioned in the guidebook as if they are the simplest thing to get, as easy as they would be normally, when it would take tons of time and effort to collect the resources for one. How are we supposed to be making these things, rapid-fire?

I don't know if I am missing something, but I believe that liquid transfer nodes don't pick up lava. I have tried and failed in a few ways, and the FTB wiki says they don't do lava. This is relevant for inserting lava into the smeltery to make obsidian, and your guide basically says that the fluid nodes are to be used for inserting water and lava for obsidian. Please tell me if I am missing something. Thank you.

I tried very hard to like this mudpack, I just couldn't. I felt like the new recipes were over-aggressive, requiring materials that didn't make sense just to increase the difficulty. I felt like some recipes shouldn't have been changed or could have been altered in a different way. This is just my opinion though and I know other people have different opinions. I see the hard work put into this mudpack, but it isn't for me.

I don't know if this was intentional, but if you kill the Wither early, you can make Imperio from the Zivicio dropped from the wither. This allowed me to skip making the strong infusion stone which requires further progress into Botania.

It's honestly fine that Withers drop Zivicio. You will need to setup a Minicio farm and progress through the Infusion Stones up to the Master Infusion Stone since you'll need drastically more Zivicio for Zivi~ Essences (Ziviuno - Zividecco) than what a Wither farm can provide anyway.

I have definitely tested Fortune Cookies, whether or not you can open them (even as a reward from the Quest Book), and I found no issues with it. The crash report also doesn't actually explain the reason for the crash, it just says system information, loading information, and other general stuff. I think if you just log back into the game you'll be fine. But I have one question: Can you repeat the same crash? Because there might be a specific type of Fortune Cookie that crashes the game (and you got that one by chance). If so, I will look into it more, but right now I can't seem to find any issues with EnderIO Addons' Fortune Cookies by looking into the configuration file.

Seems to just be a temporary memory outage, if you can read the same Cookie again. These crashes happen from time to time, but they're harmless - you can just restart your client and everything will be fine. To avoid them, give your client more RAM (in the Technic Launcher -> top right Gear icon -> Java Settings -> Memory (around 4GB is perfect)).

I think I found a bug with the thaumcraft scribing tools. I cannot repair them with an ink sac for some reason.

That's odd. I'm gonna re-install the pack later because I'm noticing that a lot of the updates aren't installing correctly and I think there's a bug with my file directory or something.

What does it say in the bottom left corner on the title screen? What version of the modpack?

Previously, the version number in the bottom corner was correct at 1.5.2, but the update hadn't actually downloaded and installed correctly. I blame technic launcher or my computer because upon completely (manually) deleting the pack and re-installing, it updated and I transferred my world over with no problems. However, the 1.5.3 update isn't working at all and the number in the corner still says 1.5.2 even though Technic believes I'm at 1.5.3 according to the launcher.

the latest update makes my game frezze when im trying to open chests both vanila and modded i cant use the tinkers' construct crafting table without frezzing and the hqm guide is buggy it opens someting when i didnt tell it to

Are you playing on a server? Maybe the server isn't on the same version as you. I can't think of anything else, these are really strange out of the ordinary issues.

nope its single player but one of the FTB mods makes it a server the pack is fun but its that issue

Try to give your client more RAM in the Technic Launcher Options (on the top right) before Launching, or if that also doesn't help, try to play from the Twitch Launcher, the modpack is also available there.

Just in case is as stupid as me. Drawers don't keep what they have inside when you break them. DON'T DO IT! I had more than 13k cobble stored in an emerald drawer and broke it. Now I have to go back to a backup I made 4 days ago. FeelsBadMan

They work like any other container. But you can use a Packing Tape to move them, so their contents stay inside.

Something is causing a Ticking Block Entity Error. Have you placed an Osmotic Enchanter in your world? That's the most common cause of this problem. It was disabled a couple updates back and replaced with the Arcane Bore in a lot of affected recipes. Even if that's not the cause, you can remove the block that's causing this issue in MCEdit, then make sure to update your client. If you can't find the cause, try to tell me what special blocks you have placed in your world recently.

I've been progressing down the blood magic quest line, and I have a suggestion. One of the final quests requires the demon portal to be picked up from the demon invasion ritual (convocation of the damned). However, this ends the progression of the village and stops all demons from spawning. Demons captured in soul vials and spawned in a powered spawner do not drop soul or life shards, rather dropping demon crystals. Therefore, I think that soul and life shards should be the items that fulfill the quest requirement rather than the demon portal itself so that the ritual doesn't have to potentially be performed twice. What are your thoughts?

I won't update the quest book since it resets everyone's quest progress, no matter how small of a change I make. HQM is just badly coded. Maybe later though.

Then is there a way that you can make life and soul shards duplicate-able once you've obtained at least one? I think this could function similarly to how weak blood shards can be multiplied with an imbued slate in the alchemic chemistry set. This would make the quest still able to be completed without the loss of the ability to get life and soul shards.

I'll think about it. I definitely don't want the ability to duplicate them early on. Maybe after the player has gotten into Botania.
