How do i get a Ball of Livingmoss?

This is probably late but you have to unlock it in your thauminomicon.
This is the best modpack with an awesome storyline. It could have optifine which would really help and some lag reducing mods since for the first 5 minutes on when I get my world I get a little bit of lag. The boats also glitches. But overall a amazing modpack with a extremely good storyline. Please read. Thanks!

uhhh... Where do I get the map that goes with it? It doesn't seem to have been downloaded with the pack itself.

this link was in the mods tab.
I never needed to DL a map with it; I was able to just create new worlds and it had the correct map. Try reinstalling from scratch if your experience differs.

VoxelMap is the minimap that Blightfall uses.
@lrwerewolf i know that VoxelMap is the mini-map for blight-fall, but if the person didn't want to re download the whole mod pack again he could just download the mod and install it manually. just trying to help the people with low internet usage aswell.

May I ask what mod the Purity Focus is from? It seems like a fun thing to have in my singleplayer
I asked this of one of the developers and was told it's in the reqcredit mod. However, if you try to inject that straight into your personal pack, it'll freeze your game as the biome scanner goes crazy. One of the developers told me to try opening the jar and removing the biome scanner folder -- I never tried it though so can't attest to it working. It does look like there MAY be a dependency on the Underground Biome Constructs mod though so take that into account.
Can you guys please put Optifine+ shaders into the mod pack this is one of my favourite mod packs out there. i love having optifine installed because it makes the 512x textures work for me.
Is there any way to enable hardcore mode in singleplayer?
This may be late so you might not see it but when you are creating the world you have the option to make it survival, creative and hardcore.
@HB_OP The modpack actually uses a mod called Lockdown, which stops you from changing some world settings such as removing the cheats, gamemode and world generation options. It also ensures that the correct map is always installed. But I think you can do /hqm hardcore to activate it anyway.
Hey im having some trouble logging on to my friends server. It tells me"internal exception: java.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" and sometimes "Java.netException: Connection timed out: no further information:"
Does anyone know any fixes to this

Yes. In fact, on this page there's a button labelled "Server Download"

So far I'm really enjoying this mod pack. However, anytime I try to load my world it goes right back to the title screen. Does anyone have a fix or something?

Is this jump back to the title screen accompanied with "shutting down internal server"?
This is by far the most intense, deep and epic modpack I have ever played! All of the different aspects make it quite fascinating. One problem I have come across, though. I have the Dawn Machine set up on the ship, and every other time I try to assemble it after having disassembled it previously (the ship), the game crashes. In fact, the Assemble Ship button is un-clickable, and last time the game crashed when I opened up the Helm's GUI. I don't have the ME Network or cables or anything set up, just the actual machine itself. I also make sure to deactivate the machine before trying to transport it. Any suggestions?

Every time i try to start up blightfall i get this error message from the technic launcher and i cant play. any advice?

Failed to download: HTTP:Resource...,ETC ETC ETC(i dont feel like typing it all out)

Can't play.. I got 16GB RAM.
You have to change your java file type to 64bit, I had the same problem, just go on the internet type in java, then click on 1.80 64bit, that should fix your problem
I open Blightfall and it opens fine. The problem comes when I load the world. I will spawn in and see the NPCs and other items but i cannot see blocks. All of the blocks on the map are completely invisible besides the outline. I really want to play this modpack and it looks really cool. Please help me.

Bit late, but there is a bug with the game. You cannot load chunks correctly unless you have your render distance over 4.
If you make a pattern chest from tinkers it gives you every pattern is that intentional?

Yes, if it gives you all of them, it's not a glitch. For me there were a few I had to create, but pretty much all of the patterns appeared after crafting the chest.
For those of you who can get the modpack to run (seems everyone and their mother can't even play it), are you able to eat? I tried tweaking the hunger overhaul and the spice of life config files. Regardless of the values I change on variables that should affect eating speed, nothing will change in-game. That being said, I can't eat... not apples, not the emergency rations that I ask for. I really like the concept of these mods and don't really want to delete them.

Crated an account just to say that I have the same problem. I was really looking forward to playing this mod pack, but from what I've seen in these discussions, it's really broken and outdated. Really a shame
i cant play cause i dont have 2GB RAM i cant get it i dont know how i really want to play this modpack please help or fix.
Go to the technic launcher options, then the Java tab up the top. Change the amount of ram allocated to Technic (it's for minecraft). If you can't turn it up, delete all versions of java and download the 64 bit version. Install that, then repeat the first steps I gave you. You should be able to select more ram this time. Hope it helps!
Does anyone know how to move a save to another computer, everything ive tried automatically deletes the file when the game launches.

A little bit late, and you may have tried this, but what I have done in the past is copy the entire modpack folder (in this case Blightfall) from within the technic folder to a USB drive. Then, make sure technic launcher is installed on the destination computer and paste the modpack (Blightfall) folder inside the new technic directory. Just copying one of the levels instead of the modpack folder generally won't work. You could also copy and transfer the entire technic directory. Might even be better.
