Fixed some quest metadata bugs. I had reports of strange lag on servers I couldn't readily address. I did figure out I could get rid of the hidden chunk loaders for the Beach Party and Baby's First Space City dimensions. However, there was a quirk with RFTools keeping the RF supply to them from being truly infinite. Right now, they're just set to a ridiculously-large number. If you find yourself dying in the Beach Party dimension or the tutorial city, you will need to use the /rftdim command to pump in some more RF into them. This is a work-in-progress that will probably continue into subsequent revisions...

VeinMiner should work across EnderOres now. Made EnderOre dimlet very resource-intensive due to request for balance from a server owner. Updated: RTG, RFTools, ChickenChunks, and VeinMiner. Server pack now... doesn't take up 700MB (whoops!)

Little quest book tweaks. I think I fixed the nether portal bug! See if any more show up when going back and forth to/from Baby's First Space City. Put special blocks in the City to mark where to stand to accomplish the intro quests. If this pack works fine, I'll update the server pack in a few days.

Thermal Expansion quest items were not detecting properly. This is a side-effect of the Thermal Expansion update. Also changed basic tool quests to use wooden rods; I didn't know they actually worked better that way! Added cardboard box quest and a stone chiseling quest. Reduced demo smeltery from 8x8 to 6x6 because you cannot in fact create an 8x8. My favorite is 6x6 after all.

MAJOR UPDATE! Six months of cumulative changes vetted in bfsr-beta. Players start in a tutorial world. Quest book has been extremely expanded. There are now more quest paths. Some quests likely still have major bugs--particularly in the advanced Galacticraft plotline, but a new teleportation chapter and expanded AE2 chapter should take off the edge.

This is not actually different than 1.5.0.3, but I broke the link on Technic and it wouldn't refresh it after two hours, so I am trying it as a new version.

More quest book fixes, notably making sure the channel quest detects correctly.

The main thing is fixing the Hipster Torches quest. I meant to fix that in 1.5.0.1, and distinctly remember going through all the motions to fix it. Somehow it did not stick. This release fixes that quest. It also adds AppleCore based on a request. This shows hunger and saturation on the HUD with more detail. It is normally used by other mods to add crazy hunger mechanics, but not here.

These are all quest book fixes! Refreshed all Thermal Expansion rewards, because placing any of them would crash the game. Fixed various goofs in quests like with torches, the crossbow, and some other assorted.

Refreshed all mods. I am hoping this fixes some random world corruption issues I have heard about. The quest book has a new chapter, and a few new quests have been added all over the place. There is a little bit of quest gating just so that a bunch of quests don't just open up on the game start; confuses new players since they don't know where to go. Added a guide for starting your first base for new players, using the Enchridion mod.

Reduced extra glowstone generation. It was causing a stack overflow error from the generator perpetually trying to extend into more and more and more chunks. I did not see this in all my original testing, but somebody gave me a seed where it triggered. It was pretty obvious what was wrong, but it has to be fixed nonetheless.

This has a fix for the Forge incompatibility problem. I could not get a dry run installation to start last night; it took some time for Technic itself to refresh with my latest version. So it wasn't until tonight that anybody could see the problem. Unfortunately, somebody saw it before me, and I apologize if I ruined somebody's evening.

1.4.0.0 is no good and should be ignored. However, I will be reposting its changelog here overall:

This is a general mod refresh. Most mods have been updated to their latest, recommended versions. This should fix existing bugs--while probably introducing new ones. You are encouraged to complain.

DUE TO QUESTBOOK MOD HYSTERICS, DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THINGS AND DO NOT CARE IF YOU LOSE YOUR PROGRESS!!!

[DONE]Add a quest to smelt some compressed cobblestone to expand the smeltery
[DONE]Add ender quarry quests. Some packs don't have the digital miner, so it's worth knowing an alternative.

1.3.0.1 is just 1.3 but with all the 1.3 download links and materials reasserted in Technic in hopes that it will actually use the 1.3 archive that I had provided it.

1.3 Changes:
Added tconstruct knapsack quest
Added tconstruct traveler's belt quest
One of the first rewards includes two TNT, with another quest explaining it and giving buttons. This should help the more helpless quickly make a safety hole when the sun comes crashing down.
Changed flint + steel quest to

Added tconstruct knapsack quest
Added tconstruct traveler's belt quest
One of the first rewards includes two TNT, with another quest explaining it and giving buttons. This should help the more helpless quickly make a safety hole when the sun comes crashing down.
Changed flint + steel quest to "What Is In A Flame?" I must maintain a high pun ratio or I will lose my doofus credibility.
All pick and hammer quests require pick parts because even with NBT-independent detection means it ignores material. Matching tconstruct items is out of reach. :(
Added all ender ore combinations to veinminer. They won't always go in one stroke but it's a start.
Add a note in the wool quest that you can make it from cotton.
Diamond quest should trigger on any of the pick quests that can harvest it.
Added the Fast Leaf Decay mod.
Repaired triggering rules for lapis quest.
Fixed: Hardened fluiduct quest requires hardened ducts, but they are a reward from an earlier quest, rendering it moot.
Added FastCraft. I need this for a network game of this slated for the end of the week.
Added note in the harvester quest that a sludge boiler will take away sludge and accelerate the harvester
Added note that you can disable redstone control on servos; you don't need a lever
Add metadata detection of aqueous accumulator in sprinkler quest. It was being too picky.
Took out modular powersuits and its dependencies. I don't have spots for it in the quests.
Removed MFR magic crops compatibility because I didn't have the magical crops mod.
Ender ore will not spawn endermen anymore. This was obnoxious when a bunch of stone randomly turned into ender ore.
Removed Opis in order to get FastCraft to work. The MapWriter instance in it was not cooperating. That means MapWriter is gone, but . . .
Installed JourneyMap as a replacement for MapWriter. The web-server part of it is disabled by default.
Added actual information to the "Fetch Me An Ale, Wrench!" quest. Thanks, Thyrork!
Disabled Mekanism voice server. The pack does not use voice chat, so I'd rather not expose spurious Internet ports.
Added a note that channels like to connect to faucets right next to them, so right click the faucet in the direction of that connection to break it. This will eliminate blockages.

Got rid of steel detection bug in quest book. The steel hammer reward involved some old Tinker Steelworks components. This was messing up the questing mode.

Also removed the sacred rubber sapling reward in the MFR quest. Whoops. The harvest will still reward with a mega sapling.

The diamond quest should trigger on any of the picks that can mine it now.

Removed Mystcraft. I was using it to make a cosmetic lobby dimension for the planned competition, but decided I could just throw the lobby somewhere in The Overworld, or in a spatial storage dimension.
Removed Tinkers Steelworks. The game was slowing down when interacting with the high furnace, and the steps towards building it were too tedious for the proposed competition time. Feedback confirmed it was a speed bump.
Updated CoFH and Thermal Expansion libraries particularly to try to take advantage of new oregen changes. Did not matter, but it's possible an even newer release will allow me to place more glowstone in the way I prefer.
Replaced the High Furnace steelmaking process with the TE Induction Smelter process.
Turned the "Tools and Toys" section into a two-page spread with extra fill-in quests for things like hammers.
Switched quest book detection for machines to NBT-independent. Now they should detect the machines you craft.
Added back in quest requirements for the actual Tinkers Construct tools. NBT-independence allowed me to detect them properly.
Made the steel ingot requirement for the steel quest use ore dictionary, with the ingot being the Artifice ingot that TE is generating. It wasn't detecting the steel!
Added more vanilla quests.
Added surface lava pools in The Overworld. ATG was not generating enough surface lava, or enough lava period. Now there are lava ponds, with basalt partially encrusting them. By the way, ATG is the intended terrain generator.
Refined extra clay generation. ATG can be scarce with clay, but now some sand will turn into clay right below sea-level in non-arid biomes.
Added quests for alternative methods of generating obsidian in order to build the Nether Portal earlier. I am trying to encourage Nether chaos early and often.
Adjusted nether ore explosion rates so that you get something close to Centralia, but not a runaway chain explosion. Nether Ores are common enough now that these chain explosions are actually kind of entertaining, and can be a clever way to pick up ores like diamonds where you don't have a pick that can handle it. The two new quest paths are channeling lava into the smeltery, or using MFR straws to ... form obsidian in your mouth.
Added speed upgrade awards along the digital miner progression so you don't have to stare at the machines.
Nerfed infernal mobs a little more (took out bulwark). Reduced HP multiplier. Replaced all their loot with various novelty items like jetpacks, OpenBlocks fun stuff, Extra Utilities fun stuff, and various AE2 pieces. No, I don't know why that infernal skeleton was carrying around a molecular assembler! Hopefully when you see an infernal mob now, you'll think "Yaaay!" and charge it. None of the loot should directly affect the planned competition.
Added more wool rewards earlier because the circuit fabricator in galacticraft needs some wool, and I don't anticipate most people having it when they get there.
Added quest chapter notes.
