• New Job Kit: Bard! Support your party with tipped arrows, play your Horn of War to scare fiends away, then play your lyre or flute to celebrate a job well done!
• Thieves now start with a Blank Key, a Diamond-Plated Lock, and 16 Steel Lock Picks, all from the Locks mod! They also get a Treasure Tool from Treasure 2!
• Monks now start with the Power Break Manual as well as Finishing Touch, Parry, Spiral Cut and a second Basic Technique, for a total of 5 Skill Manuals.
• Black Mages now start with Electrify and Freeze instead of Singe and Blind.
• Red Mages now start with Singe instead of Burst.
• Dragoons now start with a Dragon Command Staff.
• Magick Knights now start with the Runeword: Sol spell instead of Confuse, and a Curse Ward instead of an Amulet of Warding.
• Cavaliers now start with a Cornucopia instead of a Spectral Tether, as well as a Saddle and a Cart. They also get a Green Chicobo Spawn Egg instead of a Yellow Chocobo Spawn Egg.
• Paladins now start with an Iron Hammer instead of a Silver Hammer, as well as a Cross of Mercy.
• Dark Knights now start with a Devoritium Axe, and an Amulet of Warding instead of a Curse Ward.
• Scholars now start with The Omnicron instead of 8 Scrolls of Identification.
• Sages now start with a Novice Sage Tome (Ancient Spellcraft) instead of a Flavius Utility Grimoire (Wizardry Tales), and the Scribe spell instead of Electrify. They also now start with a Mystic Lectern and two Empty Mystic Spell Books.
• Merchants now start with a Coin of Fortune.
• Spell Blade base damage increased from 3 to 5, and Progression per hit reduced from 5 to 3.
• You must open the Mage's Handbook before you can use magicks, but thanks to a mod update, you will no longer need to re-open it when you die!
• You may no longer cast magicks of Advanced or Master tier unless you are wearing a full set of mage armour.
• All Magick-based Jobs now start with 10 bottles of Ether instead of 3, and one Apprentice spell tome in addition to their four Novice spells:
